It is very hard to know goes on in Steve Rogers mind on thinking, who should be Captain America..In the comics, I think, that, he did give it to Bucky first. Then something happened, and I think that, they killed off Bucky. The next decision was to give it to Sam. I know, the MCU did it differently, and gave it to Sam first which help brings him to the conclusion on what the shield has ment to him.

Sam has the character and maturity to be Captain America. He helped other veterans with PTSD, has the combat skills, and was selected by Steve Rogers to be the successor. His discussions with Isiah Bradley add a different texture and dynamic to it as well. Very deep.

Both Sam Wilson, John Walker and Steve Rodgers were still active in the military. I think that is another reason they both are called Captain. They made Sam Wilson a US Soldier for a reason in the MCU. In the Marvel Comic Universe he isn't. Simply because people have to address him as Captain regardless. They are all legally Captains.

WHO I IMAGINE COULD BECOME THE NEXT STAND IN OF (CAPTAIN AMERICA) & THE FUTURE ONE: I envision (Peter Parker) being the 4th. successor of (CAPTAIN AMERICA) & I see him having a new spiderMan suit outfit made for him; One that is designed with features that have Captain-America symbols on it, and I imagine that he could have his own specially designed shield that is very similar to that of CAPTAIN-AMERICA’S shield. In addition I I envision his shield works very well with his way of fighting, and I imagine that Spider-Man’s (American Spider-Man) has certain types of additions added in it. I also hope to see these features shown in one, or 2 episodes in the Second Season of (FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER) show series. “Now I envision the future (CAPTAIN AMERICA) successor could be the great grandson of (Isaiah Bradley) & I imagine that his great grandson is born with unexplainable extra levels of powerful strength, along with amazing running speed, and a few other abilities too, and to add I envision that those abilities don’t kick in until he has turned 21years old.”
