One app that helped me as well is Forest. It’s an app that grows a virtual tree or plant of some sort for whatever duration of time you want to focus. If you leave the screen or do anything else on your phone, the tree dies. After you focus for a certain amount of time, the company eventually plants a tree in real life on your behalf. It’s simple, fun, and interactive, and feels great to reward yourself even if you only set it for 20 minutes. Focusing for that 20 minutes and earning a small break after can go a long way.

I absolutely love this concept of Parkinson's law! It's so damn true. I always set myself the goal of a weekly upload, and no matter how stressful my schedule is or if issues arise throughout the week, I somehow get everything done due to this mindset (that I didn't even know about!) I never thought about it like that. Fascinating

10:10 For future reference and time saving, see if you can take a practice test at home as your diagnostic examination. Everything you did with the actual test could be done pre-emptively before you schedule the real thing. That way you are still only taking the test twice, but you only need to go to a testing center (or be proctored remotely) once.

Highlight of the day (of your given life) I like this. So you have your home life, away life, work life, project life... (I think I mapped out 5, will have to check my notes). When you are living one of these lives (sometimes in conjunction), asking yourself what is the highlight of your _____ life? (on the given day of the week/month) Focusing yourself to this only. Highlight of - Work life: email ******** - Home life: clean the house (on another day it could be gardening or general maintenance) - Away life: bring the dogs for a run and play - Project life: layout assignment two's questions and outcome focus of each Now in this video, you mentioned we have on average 2 or 3 hours a day of truly focused efficiency capability. Some of our lives the highlights wont require heightened focus, mostly this is required when problem solving or learning something, rather than applying what we know fluently. Appreciate any reflections on what I took in. As always Vegan Love Baby!

I feel one thing that common mortals make is that they don’t balance things, so i end up focusing more on the side hustle and then when too much accumulates on the job front i would go all out missing on my side hustle for weeks, i feel that that the concept of highlight of the day really help with regard to makings things balanced!
