I noticed you mentioned a rocking to break the water tension. A small planing step in both pontoons such as built into airplane floats may help.

Hey well done! It looks like a very nice way to approach foiling. How many knots tws you got during these lessons? You think it works for big guys too (f.i. 90 kgs) ? Please let me know....

90 kilos is normal. One of the fastest guys in the class weighs about that. He flies in 8 or 9 knots and above. Dave weighs about 77 kilos and flies in 8 and above. If you weigh 100 kilos, you probably need 10. All of these numbers are also predicated on skill. Usually the biggest misunderstanding is that you don't need more wind a lot of the time when you're learning to fly, you actually need better timing (i.e. more practice.).
