The overlap of the various Mexican cultures and ruins is always fascinating. I’ve been to a few of these sites and wish I had the opportunity to go back to explore more. If only we had a time machine and could see what these cities looked like in their heyday! The color, the costumes, the blood. Lots to think about.

The Nicarao people of Nicaragua also claim descendance from the Toltecs, and historians and scholars found evidence to support that claim. Identical cultures, the Nicaraos expertise in medicine, Nicarao effigies are identical to Toltec ones, and the Nicarao migration to Nicaragua after the fall of Tula Chico and Tollan lines up perfectly, it is a strong theory. Makes sense. The pipil people from El Salvador also claim descendance from Toltecs. There’s were groups of people migrating south. They stopped in El Salvador. The Nicarao were the same people and kept going and settled in Nicaragua.

@@LuisVillalobosYT That's exactly right the Nicarao are a subgroup of the Pipils, my grandpa was from a Nicarao community and they are identical to pipils even today. Are you Salvadoran or Mexican?

This history seems to rhyme with the Pre-Roman Etruscans that the Romans learned from and adpated much of they have from these people. The Romans however are responsible for the demise of the Estrucans. The same consclusion that was drawn here and is plausible. Two great civilizations!
