Hey hey! It was nice to see my old stomping grounds on B concourse at Denver. I use to be a fueler there some 4 years. That very fuel truck was the one I would drive around pumping gas into all those CRJ's. Great vid! I've had my fair share of over wings to.

First time in Haydon perhaps - seemed a nicely appointed airport... flight to there looked good conditions. I've been to Denver - huge airport... only trouble with airport concessions is - they are darned pricey! Your lunch looked good though. Then 5 hours there - holy smokes, one hour is enough in those places! Killing time never great and then - wait for fuel truck - been there and done that. Another good video Jim :) Another trip sequence done.

Wonder if you will ever run out of fun facts Captain ! I've been trying to figure out how to ask this question without sounding like a smartass.... @0:12 is the Ice Detection Light just a $400 flashlight to manually look for ice or is there more tech to it? I ask because I see some videos where the pilot gets some alert about icing on the wings from the console, and some in smaller planes where they just look at the wing. Not sure were the XLS stands on ice tech. Thanks again for all the vids and especially all the replies !

I am a bit lost, Why hire a charter to fly to Craig, then leave the A/C at Craig, and pay for you all to fly back to STL? I mean, Why not just fly to Craig Vi UAL in the first place. Another good video.
@sailsailsailsailsail7 жыл бұрын
Mr DDD3az why would you mess with air travel? It's clear the owners enjoy the private jet experience and use it. In many of this guys videos you will see him waiting for the passengers, or the passengers change their time. That's the advantage of private aircraft. If you fly commercial there is no direct flight and you have to use the airlines schedules, the plane will also not wait for you. If the owner can afford it, more power to him. Sometimes the corp pilots will wait with the aircraft at the FBO or go to a hotel. But I'm guessing the owner (or the guy chartering) is going to be in Colorado for a few days. At that point it may be cheaper to fly the pilots home instead of paying for a hotel. The pilots may have other jets to fly back in STL as well. If they purchase fuel in Colorado the ramp fees may not be that bad.

Been watching you for several weeks now and have a question about several of your flight to different places. You seem to take a passenger or multiple passengers to locations (Haden, CO or Nassau) and you leave the a/c there and catch commercial back home. Why not drop the passenger off and return the a/c to home or stay there a few days? Cheaper to fly commercial than to put hours on the a/c you are flying on the trip, maybe? Thanks
@captmoonbeam5 жыл бұрын
The difference in cost is thousands of dollars and sometimes I'm leaving it with the owner who will often keep the airplane in case he wants to fly it. Sometimes when he's in Florida he'll fly it to dinner in another city.
@whowantsachannel19837 жыл бұрын
You've probably answered this before but I didn't see/hear it. When the planes were pushing back and heading to the runway, was this done in post production by speeding up normal speed video or was it done in the go pro as a time-lapse (video?)? I just recently purchased a go pro and have not tried time-lapse yet. Thanks for the videos. Enjoy riding along.
