Obi master, how did you bring up that color palette? Tip for you - right click the record button to swap into Time Selection Auto Punch. I thought I had already subbed - oh well did it again.

Thanks for the tip! I really need to use Reaper more. So many ways to do the same thing. I love it 😃 For the color palette is a script you can get from ReaPack. If you don’t have ReaPack, download that first and the search for ReaNoir and install that package. I then setup a shortcut in Reaper (Shift+c) to open it and close it. Is the reamp box required for capture? Can I just send out the wave to a hardware output (on interface) to the amp, then record with the mic?

You would need to convert your line level output from interface to instrument level so it hits the amp with the levels the amp expects to see. I believe you can use a guitar pedal with ab buffer as a “reamp box”.
