John, what a monster camera you have there. WOW!!! Yup, it's Chuck in N.E. Florida back at ya again. Great job on this one, too. Being a dronie myself, I did catch the reversed video at 4:57 - 4:59. I doubt that many folks would even notice. Really enjoying looking at all of your work ... and it's heartwarming to see that family vignette at the end. Cheers, Chuck

I loved this video. I hope my clients weren't always in a hurry lol. Learning a lot from you. I want to get to the next level of interior photography so that one day my clients will be different level too. God bless

Thanks, Tim. Glad you enjoyed it. It is the type of content I want to produce but, like you, I rarely have time. This was a unique shoot where I had already photographed the interiors and was left alone to capture the exteriors. 😉 My advice, shoot every job and treat every client like it’s your biggest shoot and you’ll quickly get the clients and jobs you want. 👍

Loved the video John. Very well done, informative and entertaining. I'd love to see more like this. I would also be very interested in your post processing. Your photography is beautiful.

Thanks, Greg! My next video will be touching on my workflow and more specifically, how I dumped Adobe for good last year. : )

@@JohnMagnoski That will be interesting. I jumped into Capture One Pro at version 9 (now at 12) but seem to keep getting drawn back into Lightroom. I just can't seem to fully settle on Capture One even though I love it and know how much more powerful the program is. There are just elements and workflow issues that I like better from each program. I wish I could just settle on one. I don't think that I could give up Photoshop though. I just can't seem to fully polish up my images using the raw processors only. Have you eliminated Photoshop or replaced it with Affinity or something else. Anyway thanks for the response and I look forward to seeing your future videos.

@@gregevans1478 I'll dig in deeper durning my video. But in short I went back to Capture One Pro and have been using Affinity photo to finish my work. : )

Awesome! Have you considered sending this to Fuji?

which Sirui tripod do you used?
@JohnMagnoski3 жыл бұрын
It was a T-2204XL with the E20 ball head. Looking at B&H, that combo isn’t available anymore. Closest match is this one www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1024704-REG/sirui_bsret2204_carbon_fiber_tripod.html But while it is a decent tripod, I’m searching for a replacement after only 3 years of use.

@@JohnMagnoski I think now it is better to buy Sirui W-1204 waterproof. is your sirui tripod good enough and stable.
@JohnMagnoski3 жыл бұрын
It’s fairly stable. Vibrates a lot in strong winds, which transfers up to the image being captured. I’ve considered the 1204, but I’m seriously considering a Benro or Feisol product.

Loved it! Was that the XH-1 for the Vlog segments? Eterna?
@JohnMagnoski6 жыл бұрын
Hey Jake! Yes, those were shot with the XH1. Eterna film simulation and no additional grading in post.
