Wow, thanks a million! I’m planning more videos. But as always, I’m more of a photographer than a videographer. So I’m making about a video a month only.

Thank you so much!! I'll reach a plateau very soon, as I'm finding my video equipment very limiting. But trying to make the best out of it. Thanks for the support. Cheers from Puno, Peru.

One more thought. I think the reflection area from this video might work with a telephoto lens, too.

Definitely a good scene to try with a 90mm or a 135mm. Unfortunately, I'm almost never carrying my FX 90mm f2. Thanks for all the support and the good vibes man!

Color is always a "temptation" but B&W can easily change how we consider and we see the photography so far. Another great video, thank you Ortiz

Always really enjoy your videos Eduardo. Great photos as usual. I love learning about your thought processes and what you’re aiming for when you looking for a picture. I was wondering, you seem to have an effortless way of getting up close to people without really bothering them enough to notice, or perhaps care about your presence. Is that something you’ve had to learn, that you consciously think about? From the viewer’s perspective you give off very chilled, zen vibes so I’m not surprised you’re able to go about almost unnoticed. Anyway, it would be good to hear whether this is something you’ve really had to learn and work on, or, if it comes naturally what do you think it is that you are doing that puts people so at ease in your presence? Do you use specific techniques or it is just a general friendly attitude? Thanks 🙂

Thanks a million for watching. The confidence I got to approach people was developing little by little. I started shooting with a 50mm on canon apsc (80mm) and then gradually was requiring something wider, till I got to 28mm. At 28mm people sometimes even think I’m shooting something behind them. Also I really care about people’s reactions and always try to be aware whether my presence is being welcomed or not. I approach people up front with my camera and never do anything dodgy like shooting from the hip or so. Another thing that helps me quite a lot is avoiding eye contact with my subjects. That’s for now. You give me an idea for a future video. Thanks!

I’ve been on a similar journey, starting off with a longish zoom lens, then 35mm (APSC) and now 23mm, but I’ve noticed I’m often cropping into my images which tells me I’m not comfortable enough getting close up for now. So yeah, I know it’s something a lot of people, both beginners and those that have been at it a while struggle with so I look forward to hearing your thoughts. Thanks 🙏
