Many people that buy these luxury vehicles trade them in long before warranty is expired. Only paying for gas, oil changes, brake pads and tires during ownership. Which they can easily afford. They then buy a new model rinse and repeat. Saying only stupid people buy these luxury vehicles is kinda ironic as they generally have large disposable incomes and buy new vehicles every 4-5 years.

Most people who get luxury vehicles lease them over 2 to 3 years. They also usually find a way to write them off their taxes. So they never really realize the depreciation. The next person who buys it will deal with the maintenance.

Great video, You are doing a valuable service to let consumers know what they are getting (sucked) into. If they really want a cabriolet they can check the used market. Many of the deep pocket owners baby these cars, they have cash to get the latest greatest. Find a specialty garage (without marble tiles) that is trustworthy for your maintenance.

These thing are for lease only , poor people can’t afford the maintenance even if they are gifted a luxury vehicle, rich people aren’t going to pay to fix them , they ll buy another new ….not even blink an eye. Car makers are building only for the wealthiest 10% of the car buyers . Young folks think they have to own the latest with most computers and mechanical nightmares to maintain. They lease, because they can’afford to actually own the car or keep it up. So, they have no equity, they rent , …fine live like that ….just don’t expect me to support you when you get old .

All cars depreciate, the key is to minimise it or make it work to your advantage. Done right you can buy a car a couple of years old significantly cheaper than it was when new and still have many years of reliable motoring. 90% of it's life for 50% of the cost if you like.

@BobbyDeniroX
@BobbyDeniroX Ай бұрын
Exactly they don't buy them they lease them. The lease label or even compliance cars have had a detrimental effect on cars. I suppose hybrid cars Toyota and Lexus have added something over just petrol but diesel and turbo technology as well as other components used that are fragile has made them poorer quality and that's just the engine side. Then there's the materials, fit, finish, services and residuals. It was great back 30 years ago when they made cars that were made to be high ticket premium items lose a lot of value where it was really hitting the manufacturer and was an upside for the customer. Cars you buy with your own money become a different prospect. Maybe just some Porsches and some Lexus are the only ones worth buying with your own money for their own unique benefits.

All car brands have their share of issues. I own a Mercedes and haven’t experienced any serious problems beyond regular maintenance. I only use original Mercedes parts, which I purchase from the dealership at a 15% discount, ensuring the car remains in top condition. Having previously owned a Lexus RX, I can confidently say there’s no comparison when it comes to drivability. The Mercedes offers a superior driving experience, with better handling, refinement, and overall performance. While maintenance costs can be higher, the driving satisfaction and luxury are well worth it. If you value these aspects, a Mercedes is hard to beat
