I discovered you a few weeks ago and am just loving your videos. Small tip. If you make a tiny hole in the fat end of your eggs with the very tip of your knife they will stay more intact when your boil them. Use the knife tip to like drill a tiny hole!! 😀🤞

I camped the NC500 in my 2011 3 door corsa and it was fantastic, I really appreciate your set up pal. Its also apparent you know the basics, food shelter quiet and having a giant poo when you can ^^ Stay safe, next stop for me Shetlands in march.

You may not have heard of avocado hand. This occurs during an attempt to remove the stone in a dangerous manner as illustrated in the video. The knife slips on the stone and can cause a serious cut to the hand. Place a towel between your hand and the avocado as a protection.

the towel would just loosen the grip. a sharp knife and confidence is all one needs to avoid avocado hand.

I once inflicted avocado hand on myself (a scream-inducing experience) and since then have used the towel method. I can assure you that it works perfectly.

@@maggiemorton6071 Dearest subscriber, I am sorry to hear about your avocado hand. That is a nasty accident. It sounds like your fingers may have perhaps been protruding over the horizon of the avocado and exposing them to the blade, perhaps a fault of technique rather than tools. It hearkens me to the time I was trekking in northern Vietnam and I would watch our porters ladened with provisions jump across slippery rocks wearing cheap, plastic flat-soled sandals. They were relying on precision and balance to avoid slipping, as opposed to our clumpy hiking boots with thick rubber treads. The more we rely on tools and products to protect us the more we lose touch with our innate abilities. Too long spent in wooly jumpers and our body can no longer adapt to cold weather. I do appreciate your idea though, and have put it on the bottom of the huge steaming pile of unsolicited advice I receive through these comments, and along with buying a mosquito net, electric heater, blanket, hot water bottle, hand warmers, WD40, ... etc for the car I'm sure I will get to it in due course.
