Nice video but terrible solderings. Be very careful when soldering battery leads next to each others. And very important: remove old tin and add some new to the PCB.

With my (lack of) soldering skills, I'd have snipped the wires and soldered there... Thanks for the video, I'm ordering a battery. Will never buy DOD again. Under warranty, the replacement had a bad battery. Hopefully this will solve it, thank you.

DOD ls470w is basically the same! i went with the slightly bigger battery.. tight fit but works!

Since the eBay link has expired, it is a 3.7V 250mAh lithium polymer battery

Can You help me? Dod ls475w+. After upgrading software camera restart to beggining where i need to set the language, world time etc. Recording is fine, files are ok after restart but all the settings change to random when i stop the car and run it again. Please help me with this.

I replaced my LS470w. They switched to a 'cylinder' shaped battery and it makes no sense to me whatsoever. I discarded that completely and just put a smaller size 300mah one and forget it.

Will DOD dashcam power up with the power cable if the battery inside is dead?

Hi, I think that it will turn on but you should take into consideration that once power is disconnected the last file might not be saved.

@@kravetzroman123 thanks, for the reply....my dashcam DOD ls360w suddenly stopped working. The blue light indicator is on when I connect power cable, but the screen/camera is not powering up.
