If people knew what California used to be like, and what it became, they'd be astonished, not in a good way either They 'imported' millions of foreigners from south of the border - a large portion of those foreigners cut lawns, did landscaping to feed their family. Then a couple years ago, the same governor who ruined the state OUTLAWED OUTDOOR POWER TOOLS Stuff like that. Gas is $6, $7 a gallon there. State income tax is now 14.4% And there are no apartments either, they imposed rent control on the entire state in 2019. No one is building apartments. Guess raising MSRPs was a shot in the foot for these manufacturers. Some of the these dealers also still have markups and refuse to budge even as their lots are starting to overflow with inventory. Delusional at best.

To bad, If I can't see the discounted price upfront then it's a no buy. They are just shooting themselves in the foot.

Dealers should be scared it's impossible to lower prices low enough , % rates have killed everything not just dealers 😮

Sounds like a monopoly.... Those poor dealers who cannot list the price they want to list.

Twice in the last week I have looked at two used Minivans and both dealers (two hours apart) stated they couldnt drop prices any lower cause they were losing money 😂

I know a face to face talk to a salesperson is a bit of an ordeal. Telephone call... easier. At least to see if you're wasting your time or not. Seriously... call and say how much you're willing to spend OTD.. not a penny more.... including road tax and sale tax etc.

For current salaries and how bad inflation is, buying a car for more than $35k is just not smart
