In fact we wouldn't need diagnostic tools, because car manufactures could easely integrate the diagnostic software into the car that can be read in the car on screen and even sent to your smartphone so that you can send it to the dealer for parts or make an apointment for a repair that is needed. But no, the car manufactures desided to shake down everyone who drives in their crap, so imo every government should force car manufactures to sell a finished product where the diagnostic software is included in the sale! Hell, why is there not a rich dude who starts a new car brand that comes with open source sofware, because he would sell cars like mcdonalds sells hamburgers, because people hate shit they can't fix themselves!

I do not get any check engine light on or anything but can this detect any faulty codes, as my car kinda hesitates sometimes when accelerating from low speeds. I think it can be some faulty sensor or something agr/egr, but not sure. Can this obd help detect it?

You can check all the sensors so if there is anything wrong with them it should detect it.

Make sure your engine isn't fully running just turn the ignition on

Looks cool, but this cannot scan for trouble codes, it only shows what is already detected by the computer of the car. Also this cannot perform any advances tests. True, it's inexpensive, but also true it's almost useless. Liked the video though.

This is simple scanner for car owners. Most of regular owners wont understand most advanced test results either.
