It has to be said that i really liked how much time you put into those welds. I wouldve blown through the sheet metal a dozen times, in an attempt to get the panel flat.

The welder is running better than it has I'm using a 25 wire. But the problem with saying that is that other people will tell you to run a point 35 wire and increase your heat. On this one I actually went with the factory recommendation for a 18 gauge metal and it seemed to work pretty well. Welding in a lot of respects on old cars as a lot more art than science. You just kind of have to play around with it until you get the setting where you want it and then start welding.

You'll do a lot of crazy things when you love your kids. This car belongs to my stepson Jackson. In Australia this car would be a Top Flight car. So I guess value is all on what part of land you're standing on LOL

Weird question, different strokes for different folks. Not my cup of tea but I like other makes and models that are not main stream. How narrow is your world view to ask that question?
