Most autoparts PoS systems are literally designed in a way that does not give you any information until you check all the little menu options. Most of the newer ones are at least semi intelligent, allowing you to just put the year/make/model for exterior things like wipers or bulbs, + which engine for underhood things. American cars are ass when it comes to looking up things like suspension parts and driveline parts though, as there are sooo many dealer options for each model of vehicle...

@@estamnar6092 I know, it’s fun to rant about though! I buy Japanese cars whenever possible too. They last as long as you take basic maintenance seriously and parts are easy to come by. I have a BMW as well (reluctantly) because it was an insane deal but you will either get rid of it or become a BMW mechanic! I’m now a BMW mechanic… Good thing for them parts are easy and aftermarket are reasonable as well. I wish I could buy American cars but they take us for granted and never put the quality and engineering as the Japanese and Germans do. Plus they cost way too much for a 100,000 mile max vehicle!

@@RexSkittles Lets see. 230,000+ miles on my 03 Silverado. I have about put about 5000 in it since I have had it. 2500 of that was for the transmission rebuild. Over 240,000 on a 04 Pontiac Grand Prix. All i ever did was just keep on top of the fluid changes. Over 150,000 on my 13 Fiesta. But it decided last year it wanted to try to be a submersible when HWY 70 in STL decided to flash flood. Oh and 102,000 on my Kia soul. It all depends on how you take care of any car.

I've seen a tree growing out of a 3rd floor porch, but this is the first time I have seen a pot plant growing in the driver compartment of a car. (and that is most definitely a pot plant. its young enough where it is still relying on the nutrients of the seed. All it would take to get to where it is, is for a seed to have fallen in hole in the carpet. Then just enough water to soak it good and keep it wet for a little while in order to germinate it, then it would sprout into what we see here. As an experiment I did this with a half dozen seeds inside a cupboard with no light at all. They grew around 8 inches tall, were white and only grew leaves similar to what you see here.)

That first scene happened to me driving a Wrangler Sahara on the highway. I was going about 70 mph & crossed over a change from concrete to asphalt (there was a very noticeable bump in the road & somewhat of a pot hole before the bump) & the next thing I knew my steering was shaking like that & I felt like I had almost no control of the vehicle. Hitting the brakes seemed to make the issue slightly worse, steering in either direction didn't feel like an option (felt like I'd roll) so the only thing I could do was take my foot off the gas & pray. Definetly scared me away from driving Jeeps but I have to say I've driven other Jeeps that were lifted much more & they never did this & some actually handled pretty well (especially the 392's!!!)

as someone who has worked at an auto parts store, can confirm that the database we use is only useful when you’re trying to find something like the proper fluids to use or what light bulbs you need. but most people already know what fluids they need and we recommend people bring the light bulbs they need to replace with them so they can be totally sure they’re getting the right ones
