Hi bud not sure if you remember me asking you about taking fog lights and switch from another Pt and put it in mine you said I also needed to put a new tipm I got another tipm from another Pt that had fog lights and had heated seats so I took them too and switch them and the new switch power seat works but still no fog lights and the heated seats don’t work and airbag lights on

Hey bud, if you can pull up on the horn pad to get it to stop blowing, then yes, your pad causing it. Im not sure what kind of opening thats in the rear of the pad to get lube inserted.

Keep in mind, the horn switch inside the pad is spring loaded, it suppose to spring back up. If it stay down your horn would just blow..

Hey my friend, yes the Journey had this same issue with horn but most of the Journeys problems was that the horn switch was shorting out against the metal frame inside the steering wheel airbag cover..If you remove the airbag, you may see it...Please subscribe to the channel for me, thanks

Well, it depends on whats triggering it..Your horn relay could be setting it off, or your horn switch inside the steering wheel airbag cover setting it off..If thats the case, you have to that cleaned up. Some people use Lacquer thinner to do it..In extreme cases, you may need to just replace the switch..But you will not know until you know whats triggering it..If you can pull outward your airbag cover and the horn stop blowing, yea, your problem inside the cover

The horn pad entrance not the same. But if the reason for the problem the same, simply remove the pad and lube points

Yellow my friend, there is no horn relay on this car so you need to get to the horns with a test light, have somebody press the horn and see if you getting power supply to the horn..if so you need horns

Hello my friend, first can I please get you to subscribe to the channel? thanks. Its not really about what kind of lube you use, the most important part is getting the lube that you using to the right spot. Make sure your lube of choice touches the pivot points on the rear of horn pad

Bro I try it on my Ram. Took the pad, air bag out, (if anyone do this please have your battery(ies)' negative cables disconnected before working on your airbags, they take I heard 30 mins to discharge their power to them. I don't want no explosions of them). Removed my steering wheels air bag, is still new, this truck is from 1999, between the pad we press in a second generation Ram and something behind them there's another plastic cover plastic welded I didn't want to remove. I WD40 between them by the back, pressed them a good 20 times, felt them not sticking between, assembled everything back, presented the negative connectors to my batteries (I got 2 batteries), horn is still stuck. Switched two similar relays, horn's still stuck. So it has to be a negative closed somewhere. But I know before I tested the horns, the pad wasn't sticking, and after a few pressing them, the pad gotten stuck on and off so maybe is just the pad stuck. Now, the pad and under plastic cover are wet with WD40, maybe once dry in couple days it goes back to normal. I'll try it in two days, let's see. Thank you!!!

hello my friend..Some of the Jeeps like yours did not have a horn fuse..Your year model likely equipped with a TIPM which is basically the fuse box. Also may not have external horn relay (built inside the TIPM) You basically will have to unplug the horns to disable the blowing..And I suggest you get the car scan because a problem like that likely generated a fault code..Not good riding around without a horn...BTW can I please get you to subscribe to the channel, thanks

But he did notice that the cruise control wire was sticking out and coming in contact with the horn. Can I have the cruise control wire removed? I'm scared someone will think I have road rage and do something crazy. I appreciate your help and advice.

Its highly unlikely that his scan tool can read info from the cluster, the airbag module and the TIPM..All the modules thats responsible for horn operation...If that clockspring shorting out or staying close, the horn will blow..To ans your question, yes if you do not use cruise, disable it from the circuit..But again, a disable horn is not the answer, its a bandage...But you prolly want to unplug the horns until you ready to get it repaired
