The Ninja balancing on the Mercedes hanging off the side whilst its raised 3 meters in the air might be normal practice but Im sure your insurance company would not agree. It's just the tune intentionally dumping a little extra unburnt fuel out so it backfires a little - not enough to hurt the cats. Doesn't do any harm. Back in the day of carburetors of course you'd get this naturally when coming off throttle on a high performance tune, or with earlier fuel injection + turbo under real engine load it helped with reducing lag - but these days it's only for posing.

The same families still run these companies, including volkswagon. My grandpa helped liberate a concentration camp at the end of the war because he was a medic. Hello to you all 👋from the Car Ninja Team - German waching here 🥨😁 Firstly I have to say I highly admire and appreciate your content and your level of craftsmanship and perfection so far - you really know how to do your job that's for sure 👍👍 Considering the insider jokes and discussions about the different german brands I really have to argue that they all have their goods and their bads. I'm personally more or less a mercedes guy since I bought my first car basically, but I also appreciate good quality designs and engines from BMW, VW and Audi. With regard to Porsche I have to say that I don't know that much because for me there's just the 911 which is a true Porsche, the other ones are kind of a knockoff from VW Group Cars with many VW Group engines in it... By no means I'm a professional mechanic but I have worked on quite some cars together with a good friend who is a professional and thus I can say for sure that every brand has some quite reliable cars, engines and transmissions but also some very unfortunate designs considering the chassis/suspension, the engines, gearboxes and auxiliaries - e.g. Mercedes ABC; Audi Multi Link Front suspension; BMW SMG Transmission... In the end much is personal preference and before you buy any of these cars or any car in general you should deep dive into some research about the aforementioned items 🧐🖥. For me, Mercedes was always kind of the luxurious option, while BMW was the sporty one and Audi somewhere in between but unfortunately nowadays the cars and brands got so similar to each other that you can only feel the difference in nuances. I think it's quite sad considering that if you drove a 90s car from merc, bmw or audi it was a different world and you could really feel the underlying different approach and focus on luxury, sportiness and technology - these cars really had a soul and you could definitely feel it 🥲 Lastly, for all of you bashing german cars I have to say that kind of you're right, they are quite complex, expensive and some of them not reliable. However, there are also many very good cars out there with a few 100.000 kms or miles that still run and didn't have any major issues so far. For BMW I would say the old engines like the ones with the "M" in the front e.g. M52, M54, M57 paired with a manual tranmission are almost indestructible - The "N" engines like N52, N54 and so on tend to be not that reliable but it's hard to generalize... For Mercedes I would also say the old engines like M112/113, M117, M119, OM 604/5/6, OM 611/12/13, 646, 647, 648 tend to be very reliable as well. The even older ones are dinosaurs that still drive as some kind of taxi in africa and are being fixed with ductape, some rubber and zipties so they are most reliable. For the newer ones I have to say that you can still find some very good cars like that AMG GTS with the twin turbo 4.0 V8 that is deemed to be a very reliable engines as well offered in multiple performance stages. I don't know much about that transaxle and the transmission but the engine is not bad at all. For VW/Audi I would say that they have some pretty decent engines, primarily 4- and 6 cylinders like the old 1.4/1.6/1.8 engines, the EA 188 diesel engines 1.4 and 1.9 TDI, the 3.0 TDI engines and some other V6 Petrol versions. That's it from my side for today basically 🤐, keep up your work ninja team, great content overall and I'm looking forward to the next video Faleminderit shumë! - Dankeschön - Thank you 🤝👍
