I really liked this review but for those living where there's snow, mountains and/or back roads there's one glaring omission; the off-road or inclimate weather performance of the AWD version. Up here Rogues are almost all sold in AWD and they compete with Subaru, Rav4 and other small SUVs.

I love your reviews Brian, but I'm going to be honest... I'm not sure I understand your obsession with HD radio. I don't know anyone who uses HD radio. Sirius / XM sure, but not HD. The people I know are about as likely to use HD radio as they are to pop in a CD or a Cassette. But mostly, everyone just plugs in their smart phone or streams music via bluetooth.

Price and car dealerships really depends how much the Rogue is. I got the rogue sv for only $23,000 but without any of the great interior features like panoramic sunroof, automatic power back lift, BSW, leather seats, 3rd row seats, which is really optional, and navigation system. So you can actually buy he rogue sv without having to include all this crap. You still get a good looking suv though!

After experiencing a Nissan Rogue CVT failure in the previous model I would not recommend the new car at all as it has the same flawed drive train. Mine failed shortly after the warranty expired and Nissan did nothing. Perfect and coincidental timing. Steer clear of Nissan and CVTs.
