@SpontaneityJD2 жыл бұрын
@@Dylang01 Bail, like it or not, is more than just a means to ensure re-appearance in court. It serves as a strong deterrent to crime. If criminals know that they will be immediately let out after arrest, they will be more prone to re-offend, even if they have an open case. But if they know they have to post a certain amount of money to be free while a case hangs over their head, they will think twice. No defendant wants to pay a sum as collateral for their liberty, especially repeatedly. Bail also protects the public from the same individuals from re-offending while at liberty for this reason.

The government stripping your right to defend yourself is a perfect example of tyrannical overreach, and the ass-backwards laws are inherent with big government. That’s exactly why the Constitution was framed for the federal government to have limited scope, with the states having the lions share, and individual liberty being the underlying principle. It’s almost as if the Founding Fathers knew a thing or two after leading a revolution against tyranny. However, this is all part of a cycle. Hard times create strong men. The only exception is if they catch the thieves in the act. This is why our insurance premiums go up every month. Choose... Pay higher insurance premiums or pay higher taxes for more cops. “Released without Bail” must be a new term created by the liberal media. The traditional term is “held without bail.” Which means it doesn’t matter how much money they have, no amount of money can get them released, as no bail is set. “Released without bail” implies the historical meaning of “no bail” with the subtle, but major addition of the word “released” added to it.
