Here in the UK you have to be careful that you don't obstruct any part of the view of the road when you mount something like that. I understand the police are pretty hot on that kind of thing.

My co-worker had this done in her ICE car with no screen. I think a tech savy friend did it for her or a professional. I'll ask her more when I see her again. She works remote a lot. Must be nice. She said she sold her car radio though so maybe a little different than what you did. Maybe she had it done at Best Buy or something.

OMG--I have a Chevy Impala!!! Mine is a 2014. I bought it for $14K from Hertz car Sales in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. No hagglin-I highly recommend and they sell tons of used EVs. The Impala drives great!!! Very dependable. Not as fun as my Mom's 2016 Chevy Equinox. My brother gave my Mom a 2016 Chevy Equinox (well, Mom gave him a little $$$ for it). Must be nice.

This one was a rental as well haha! We've only had one problem with it over the years about a year after we bought it the engine blew up on a trip 😞 Chevrolet replaced it for free but it was still an ordeal for a week.

@@Crazypostman Wow!! That is major repair! At least no cost to y'all. Mine had 45K miles on it and was 2 years old when I bought it. Sales Dude at Hertz was so good- deadpan- the price is the price, the colors are the colors. Just the fax, Ma'am. Hertz let me finance thru them also. If I ever get a used EV, it will be from Hertz Car Sales.

I can't believe you were doing this before 6am. Also, did you change the date format from dd/mm to mm/dd or do your parents like it with the dd first? I have a 2011 Kia Sorento and I'm guessing it's gonna be too long for the rear camera cable (how long is the cable, btw?). And while the suv does have a small screen, it's not an android auto version, so I might just get this for the dashcam and the aa function. I do share what prwilson101 mentioned in his comment about not obstructing one's view. I'm gonna check out the specs to see its dimensions. Thank you.

It was definitely in the PM not the AM 😂 I wasn't paying attention when I set that evidently. I did notice but only after the video was made. I was the one that changed the date format the second day I went (actually filmed on two different days because I ran out of time) I bet my parents could never figure out how to do that. I prefer MM/DD although I know it is more common worldwide to use DD/MM. I also meant to set it up that way the first time and wasn't paying attention again.
