i think we already pay way too much for things, but i understand. i honestly think before you drive a caravan etc. you should do some extra driver training so you are fully aware of how the dynamics change. people forget they're towing trailers and stuff too, so it's not just caravans. basic driving skills mean you check blind spots and mirrors, and he didn't do either one, i don't think. lets not have more bills, especially considering they can't even maintain the road with all the money they steal from us as it is, but educate those that do want to travel with caravans to be better drivers.

There's no towing mirrors fitted. By law you must have mirrors capable of rear vision fitted.

I hate caravans. One persons luxury on holiday but everyone else’s traffic jam. I live in a regional area where caravans invade every weekend and holidays. And they are awful to deal with.

Try living in the outback mate!! They are a growing menace and a constant obstacle in my neighbourhood. If, and I say "if" they venture onto the dirt roads, they disregard all road rules, have no idea where they are or where they're going. And if you need to move farming impliments, well, where do I start?? I'm a motorcyclist as well, and have to pass by a tourist hot spot on my way into town on a dirt road. God only knows how I have restrained myself from physical violence when run off the road by one of these monstrosties. It's almost a daily occurrence. The local cop is permenantly on days off, and when there is one about, his beat is bigger than Switzerland so, effectively we don't have one. Since covid the numbers have increased by at least 1000%, and every day is getting worse. They really grind my gears!!!

maybe try being more patient. you mentioned you ride bikes, so are you SURE you aren't also part of the problem? as it is you're harder to see, and regardless, these people are allowed to travel around and explore the country. willing to bet you whine about truck drivers too, and they have a way bigger trailer as well as needing way more room to move...

The LC and caravan had their indicator on early enough for the dark blue (Golf?) hatch to let him across to the left, but the dark blue hatch decided to press home the point. Then later, when there were emergency vehicles in the left lane (including an ambulance!) and the LC and caravan tried their best to give them some room, the dash cammer either doesn't see or doesn't care about making some room for emergency services and leans on their horn 🙄
