I'm no KZbin expert but I've always heard, 'flooding' with videos isnt the key. It's consistency. 2-3 videos a week consistently for a long amount of time is apparently the ticket for the KZbin algorithm. Maybe make a schedule. Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday a video goes up. That keeps the viewer coming back because we know there's going to be a video up. Its nice to have a surprise Jennies Garage video, but it's also nice to know later today I'm going to be able to watch a Jennies garage video because its Thursday. I'm watching either way. Keep it up!

Jake, IMHO the standards you set for making your videos are self inflicted. You guys have a natural talent and experience that shows after countless videos/ years of your craft. Yes some will drop off but your base is yours. Please don’t abandon your dedicated base if your count drops to some number you’ve decided in your head is a fail point. I know it’s easy for me to say but just keep going. You’ve already proven that your channel is a success. Here’s wishing you many more happy years of success, no matter which platform you choose

As long as you don’t talk about what you’re about to do for 20 minutes before talking about what you’re doing the whole time you’re doing it, I’ll watch em when you drop em.

Awesome! When you brought this batch of bikes home, this one was the one i was really hoping you'd revive from the dead! Have you considered checking ebay for a frame with a title and just doing a frame swap? Ive done two like that for around $300'ish each. The title and street legality boosts the value way more than the $300 cost.

I've mentioned before on your channel that I have a 1990 Yamaha TT350 that I restored. Rebuilt the knackered engine. Your Suzuki is pretty similar. In my opinion these older bullet proof as long as you look after them are fantastic off road bikes. Last forever. More than enough power for off-road and are heaps of fun. Keep it and use your truck to take it to good places to ride as I plan to do if my spinal pain ever gets under control. Great bike. Fix it up and you'll have no regrets in getting it sorted. You'll love it!!!

Love your videos, and honestly can’t tell much about difference regarding the production (in other words, keep it like you’re doing and have fun!) I do want to mention your example about the pyramids though: no archeologist worth their pickaxe would be telling people they’re 100% confident about how something occurred in the past. It’s all based on confidence levels, with published and accepted papers requiring high degrees of confidence (which has its own science to boot, rooted in statistics!) If you read or learned about some of the clever and intricate methods archeologists used to discover certain aspects of ancient civilizations, you would impressed. A lot of the careful observations and analysis of carburetors and other engine parts you do remind me a lot about how scientists think through what the evidence and observations are telling them in order to create the simplest and most logical conclusion. Yeah, that’s right, I’m calling you a scientist! Be thankful your pyramid is still lying around and just needs an oil change and a good kick (or two). 😂

I like your theory about plumbers. Every day proving their knowledge. Mechanics or electronics technicians? Not all of them, some would say very few of them. Randomly firing a parts canon or replacing parts that don't need replacing does not make a subject expert.

You are right. The missing part and the modified nail was the probable cause. The missing part more so than the nail. These days many no longer leave feedback on eBay. Thats fine. None is better than negative. I had same doorlock system in a house I once lived in. I named it The Daniel Boone Door Lock System.

yeah, I have similar concerns. I want to make videos, but I hate editing and without editing my videos are boring(or at least I think they are). But I like watching you working on motorcycles, it gives me the motivation to do the same. I recently picked up clapped out ttr225 and now trying to put it back together.
@rayworx22 күн бұрын
All things being equal... all the older CB750 Hondas had NO clip on the float valves. Given the fact that age would cause the float valves to 'goop-up' and get stuck like you experienced. The use of the clip on the float valve is now standard practice. I'd say the fire is the main problem..... and though I haven't watched your entire video I feel confident the new(er) carb will improve your bike's performance.... especially at idle.

The difference with space scientists is that they are like detectives. They got some data from telescopes and whatnot and try to make a model that fits the data and explains how the stuff works. The problem is that it's hard to disprove or prove their expertise if you're not familiar with the case, like a detective.
@gwilliammaggs22 күн бұрын
Yes a very interesting subject you refer to “ what is an expert”, many years ago I had the pleasure of working with a crew chief who took the time to explain what an expert is? “Ex” is an unknown quantity and “spurt” is a drip of water under pressure. Therefore, “ex-pert” is an unknown drip under pressure. I hope you and camera girl find it amusing too. By the way great find on the old carb, a good eye to catch that.
