I think you’re being hard on yourself. I really enjoy you and the content you make, irregardless of rambling on. Folks are watching a video of you work on your mower because we like hanging out and hearing you two go back and forth, not because we own that mower.

I got a John Deere x350 from a guy. It has 860 hours on it. You could hear a tick in the valve area and when mowing, you could hear a pop from the exhaust once in a while. He said its been doing that for a while. 1 spark plug is nice and clean, other is black. I checked and tightened the valves then got to looking for the pop. Pull 1 plug wire off and no difference. Pull the other off and it dies. It would start on that one bad cylinder if you choked it, but it didn't sound good. Get to looking at the intake manifold and it looks like one gasket where the manifold bolts to the head it blown out. No clue how it got blown out on the intake side like that, but a new gasket on each side and it runs beautifully again. The guy takes good care of his machines. Yearly oil changes on all his mowers.

I know that a lot of people love these videos but I must say for me, despite being a fan of this channel, I do honestly find these random videos a bit challenging to watch. Trying to fill 'awkward' passages with subjects from a list of random thoughts is too similar to a speech by sleepy Joe and I just don't have the patience for it. And yes, no one forces be to watch these videos, and I am not saying that anyone does, but we have all been invited to say how we like this new style of videos and that is what I am doing.

2:10 The ones that get loose are near the fuel tank as it is hard to check under the flywheel. 10:42 Mix and match with lower values to get the right numbers. Exhaust valve adjustment when the Intake is just about closed. Intake valve adjustment when the exhaust is just about to open. Cows eat grass and fart just like Vegans. 20:00 That is the magic we love though.

I like this video. I used to work on my dad's Craftsman Rider. I've always wondered why these have headlights. Who mows their lawn at night?
@matthewsmith85733 ай бұрын
I usually mow during the day, but occasionally at night. Even at dusk the headlights make it easier to see the spots I've missed. One of my bulbs had gone out, so I installed a light bar -- lasted for one mowing. Haven't ruled out a loose connection, but not optimistic about getting it to work again. Guess I'll be sticking to daytime mowing.

On the hunting at rev, might be lack of air filter, or the cable and such are just set up badly. Things stretch and move over time. Weirdly, found people tend to leave mowers alone. They'll bypass things but not fuck with em too much. Quadbikes however, the wiring and carbs are always fucked. I refuse to work on them anymore.
