I play this at lunch break whenever we have in-office days. My programming coworkers are mostly very shy like me. It can be hard to talk. But I started bringing this years ago. One friend plays with me everytime. Others come whenever they want. When we get a new coworker, I invite them. They feel more like they belong, and I really like that. --My one friend even made an app to randomize what expansions we play each time! Everyone knows they are invited. Thank you for teaching this game. One of my new coworkers watched to learn how to play beforehand! :)

Your videos are great, Rodney - but I especially appreciate this one. I can't put my finger on why, but I never understood Carcassonne. I don't mean that I never understood why it was enjoyable, I mean it genuinely never clicked with me how to play. It was frustrating because I play and love much weightier games and never had this issue - my brain, for some reason, just could not process what I was looking at, though, with Carcassonne. You can see where I'm going with this - your video finally explained it to me in a way that it clicked. I really appreciate that! Your explanations are clear and helpful, and your videos are well done. Thanks!

What a really nice comment for you to leave - I know just what you mean. I've wrestled with games (and as you say, complexity isn't always the issue), and it's taken something to make it "click". Very glad this video could help in that way Ryan!

I finally decided to get this one and got the Big Box to play with my wife. Im the one who is more the gamer and have been looking for games she would like. This one never seemed that interesting. Maybe the cover art looked like a snoozer to me. We've mostly played short games like Lost Cities and Patchwork lately but she enjoys Stone Age and Viticulture too. Im hoping this one will be a hit. It arrives soon. Thanks for the great videos!

Is there a complete edition with everything
@WatchItPlayed6 күн бұрын
Nope, but there are Big Box releases, that tend to bundle several expansions in with the base game.

My favorite classic/old game is Acquire. We don't play it much anymore (one or two times a year) but we still like that game.
