@@TKUltra971 Simply reading it and seeing it are two different things. Simply reading "Lieutenant Marvin was killed by S.T.A.R.S member Brad" really doesn't evoke anything. It's like "okay". SEEING it all, Brads last cling to humanity by saying "Sorry", Marvin's face dropping from anger to something of a more "shocked" nature, and then Brad lunging and biting Marvin, it really says something to you. So the point wasnt really simply KNOWING about it, it was feeling something. Sadness, dread, anger, etc.

I like to play more aggressive so I do my best to kill as many zombies as I can. Finished hardcore a couple of times but no 'A' run. Last week I did Standard with no box but I did save a few times. I even backtracked to get the magnum but didn't use it at all. Had maybe 30 bullets for it but never once did I fire it.

@@Roof_Pizza lol yeah i sort of figured thr magnum was useful against bosses. But never did i use it on bosses. Mostly handgun ammo on g1 and shotgun. The rest as soon as i got my flamethrower and shotgun on bosses. Had my magnum for tyrant, but it was useless against him as all you need is the flamethrower, grenades, flashbangs. So... Where do you actually use the magnum? Idk lol figured they'd be useful in saving flamethrower fuel by using them against adult embryos. Maybe kill lickers so you can run through some hallways instead of walk through them? To each their own i guess. Make use of the gun. Maybe use it on G1 and maybe G2.

I personally recommend that to accomplish the SMALL CARBON FOOTPRINT, MINIMALIST, & FRUGALIST trophies that you try this on ASSISTED difficulty. #1 reason why is that when you go into DANGER status, the game will bring you back to CAUTION status. Thus, your speed and ability to defend won't be compromised by the lack of use of healing items.

So I tried to do this while watching this video: Had a 3 some with those 2 zombies after meeting elliot Didnt pick up 1 grenade Somehow didnt use the diamond key so it stayed in my inventory the entire game Used a spray cause a licker might kill me in one shot Got hit by a licker Got gangbanged by those vine dudes after picking up the purple ID chip (tried to leave but mr x slapped me back into the orgy) so I died G3 didnt cooperate and killed me Mr X made my face tomato paste after I shot his with the magnum Then I died twice to super tyranasorous rex I dont even know why I did this, I just wanted unlimited ammo. Could have seen a different video for that, but when I heard "achievements" I lost myself.

I'm doing no-box runs on harcore... complete pain in the arse to backtrack from the sewers to RPD just to burn two keys, but you get a hip pouch out of it, at least, and the T-bar handle can go.

My heart is pounding, I just did my first ever run like this myself while following the video, only made like 2 mistakes. I missed 1 flash grenade I missed a Mr. Raccoon in the cafeteria of the lab and had to waste a couple shot gun shells to get back in The only thing I did extra was I saved 1 time, right before the final Mr. X fight and I’m glad I did cuz I died on my first attempt and then got into the red on my second attempt but cleared it! I’m proud of myself for doing this even though you held my hand through it lol Obviously I got S+! Finished in 2;33;59!

I played through Hardcore first, so I can confirm that playing on Hardcore doesn't get you anything for getting all the packs. The game just treats it like you missed the ones that are only available in Standard. This combined with the fact that you're left with an uneven arrangement of slots had me thinking I really did miss one, but no. The game is just weird in that way.

Nice run Carci. The popping g mutants out of the water using hand guns is new from the hard core runs which is pretty cool. I wonder if going out of your way to go to the save room in the Lab in Leon A after getting the signal modulator to reset the 2 lickers in the lab basement is safer then just trying to manipulate them? I remember having a lot of difficulty with not aggroing both of them on the way back. The new Super Tyrant fight strat seems a lot safer then the old one assuming it also works basically the same on Hardcore. Looking forward to the rest of these.

I recently did this on Assisted mode minus no damage because on assisted mode when in danger you automatically regenerate to the last stage of caution and so no damage wasn’t so painful. To make it more grounded I turned off the aim assist and barely mixed gunpowder because getting 25 handgun ammo is a bit absurd. I beat the game on Leon A because or mr x appearing much later giving me more time to prepare. Even on assisted mode it’s still a nightmare and by the end I had nearly no sub-weapons so Ivy’s were as usual the bane of my existence. Doing both of the achievements in the same run is a really good test of skill and if your up for the challenge I recommend you try it.
