Ram is a good truck at the high trims. 5.7 hemi has the most personality out of any engine.

In October of 2017, I ordered my 2018 Ram 1500 Longhorn nearly identical to the 2012 Ram 1500 Longhorn that came with all available factory options and .392 rear gears, a DVD and CD player combo. I regretted parting ways in 2015 which is why I wanted to make sure my 2018 had the same features. Unfortunately the 2018 has a dial shifter and I miss the convenience of the arm rest 6-speed handle. I signed my contract end of Dec 2018, and noticed my Window Sticker has my name written on it. I have the factory Build Sheet and other factory papers. I love the 4-corner air suspension due to my physical disabilities. My truck has over 81,500 miles now; had a complete tune-up in June of 2023; new brakes, rotors, and tires. I have a scheduled 80k mile service at end of March 2024. Love my truck ! So happy to be back in the Longhorn!

Just bought the same truck yesterday. A 2015 6 cylinder Ecodiesel fully loaded with air suspension. What a ride! 20.5 mpg city. I miss the Adaptive Cruise Control of the INFINITY QX56. I Love my first truck. The Alpine system much better than Bose.

Apparently the trim levels are kinda different over here in Europe (where the 5.7 liter HEMI is pretty much standard and leather interior, side bars and a crew cab + shortbox config is standard from the Sport and up).

I loved this truck when it came out. So avant garde. The V10 was crazy. But time marches on, and this truck for better or worse, and this truck is not so new anymore. I love the V6 Diesel regardless of the shenanigans going on. It is a terrific motor, and I think the mileage and torque are great things for this truck. Wished the Cummins really didn't go away. Now Nissan has them. I think a big mistake for FCA to lose that. The ride with that air suspension has to be a dream. The more stiffly sprung GM and Ford offerings I think would tire me out. So I still love this oldie but goodie. But I think FCA needs to make more of an impact for me that will not scream old. Otherwise this truck is very competitive. I remember the Power Wagon growing up, and was my favorite truck. Can this truck bring back the joy? Maybe, but for me, FCA needs to step it up. The competition is mighty good. So RAM still rooting for you. FCA, get to work!

lol. Dude don't compare Chevy's strange look to Ram. They blew it by changing the Silverado look. Btw, Ford hasn't changed their look in 10 years. Ram totally got it right and killed it. I just bought a 2020 Ram Crew Cab Laramie and I guarantee you that you would buy it in a second if you had the choice. Have you ever test drove or looked at one in person? It looks 100% better than the 2018 version, inside and out. The dash, seats, everything is premium. It looks like a frickin luxury car that is a truck. Your truck is basically a slightly better version of a truck that looked the same in 2009.
