Yeah i definitely prefer the 2024 model just cuz of the v6. When we looked at it in the sensory and autograph we really liked it. And it was one of the last with a v6. It had a nice sound to it as well. Now I dont think we will be paying 70 grand for a 4 cylinder car. You get more out of a GH with the hybrid. I cant wait to see end of the year deals on 24’s 😀

Good and thorough review. I really like the QX60 and have been considering getting one. SUGGESTION… When speaking of Horsepower & Torque specs, please include the RPM (engine speed) in which the power is attained in your review. A 4-cylinder will typically generate its peak power at a higher RPM versus a V6 or V8. A well tuned Turbo can generate greater low-end Torque on a 4-cylinder. (Or any engine for that matter) I would be interested in The feel of the 4-Cylinder Turbo under acceleration versus the V6.

I think this is the first step in revising the QX60s powertrain lineup. Next year will be the full refresh of the QX60 along with the debut of the QX65. I am hoping the QX65 brings a new, more powerful engine option that will then be added as an option to the QX60. Notice they didn't update the logo to the new logo, which will likely come with the full refresh. I think they were forced to put the VC-turbo in the 2025 because the 2025 Pathfinder should be getting refreshed this year and it is for sure switching to the VC-turbo as well.

The "blackout" package is $1,900 of almost pure profit for Infiniti. Seems like a step down for the engine. Test drove a 2024 QX60 ended up a 2024 Palisade Caligraphy. The Caligraphy is better car all around, similar features more space, more power, better warranty better resale etc.

For common sense purposes, if there are passengers in the third row, obviously the second row seats wouldn’t be all the way back like you have them. I would at least adjust the second row seats to the middle and then rate the third row space to be more fair. When rating, it’s important to also focus on practicality and common sense.

I am SOOOO tired and angry every automaker is dumping their tried and true V6’s for turbo 4cyl engines. I had just decided on this SUV in two years. Now I have to scratch it off my short list. That Nissan V6 has always been an excellent engine. I like turbos for short term ownership. But a naturally aspirated engine can’t be beat for 200,000 plus miles. I guess the Acura MDX will be my next long term vehicle.

That 3rd row looks very uncomfortable & basically useless. I don't know why you rate it as OK for "in-laws" which are apparently bigger than "Children" but more tolerant of pain than "Adults"??? Aren't all in-laws adults? Why would you want to give in-laws a too-small space? To me, those 3rd row seats are a joke, & the cargo space behind it is less than a mid-size sedan.

The 2nd row was in the rearmost position. That's how they usually measure in their reviews. You would have more than sufficient 3rd row leg room adjusted for the 2nd row. Cargo space is actually decent for the class barring the TX and the MDX. The GV80's and the Q7's are smaller and it's practically nonexistent in the X5 and GLE equipped with a 3rd row.

Infiniti/Nissan could be hitting it out of the park, but things like this are what turn people away. My 16’ Frontier with a VQ recommend a minimum of 87, but I have always used 89 or higher. All VQ’s are technically high compression and should get higher octane, Nissan uses a knock sensor to adjust ignition timing to compensate for lower octane. I recommend all VQ owners to use higher octane, even if 87 runs fine.

TX is an excellent buy too if you want the interior space and the ride. Aviator is best if you want an all around luxury cruiser. I would not take this QX60. They FAILED with this one.

@@KevLEXodus between the CX90, MDX, and TX, those three are at the top of the segment, CX90 for sport, TX for comfort, MDX for a mix of both, I highly recomend all three, I don’t like the new QX60 though, I’ve been in two and they drove horribly, only new Infiniti worth buying rn is the QX80, I think the Aviator is great too but I hear it’s not reliable
