Burmester upgrade is a must, sounds great. We had a 2019 GLC but hated the piano black inside, scratched really easy. We also found the paint chipped easy. Overall a very nice vehicle

I own a GLC 300 (non AMG). Just a side note to your review (which was excellent and on par), the fuel economy numbers seem to be under reported by Mercedes. Mine is a 4Matic transmission, and I’ll easily get 32 MPG+ (even as high as 35) on the highway. Town driving is closer to what they report on the sticker, but I also like to accelerate hard.

This is a pre-facelift. The new C-Class was revealed few days ago and pretty soon it will have a refreshed interior for the GLC as well.

At least locally the Genesis dealer is pretty darn proletariat. The Mercedes dealership is first class. For a $60,000 plus vehicle you deserve waiting room chairs to not have holes in the vinyl and a dirty linoleum floor. The Genesis is a LOT bigger than the GLC 300 and the big logo on the steering wheel screams Chrysler to me. My visit to the Genesis dealer left quite a first impression on all fronts. I must say the young sales girl was pleasant although she didn’t know squat about the Genesis.

How do the safety features on a GLC and a GLE compare? If I add all the safety packages to both cars are they pretty much the same in terms of safety? Would the GLE be a better choice because it is larger and likely to perform better in a crash?

I chose the Glb250 night package but this will be my next buy. The only thing I don’t like is the sound system, I ordered the Burmester which is an upgrade and don’t see any difference, they should give the Bose as an option. I enjoy driving it, a great improvement from my ML500 of yesteryears.

I test drove a 2021 GLC 300 I really like the drive, but when we got on the freeway, the cabin noise was really loud. Any comments on this? I read where the new 2023 GLC will have acoustic foam to make the cabin more quiet. Thanks.😊

My next suv, I didn’t pay much attention to it and got the glb which I also like. This suv can cost you up to 80k if you don’t watch your add-ons when building. I like the AMG look without the AMG engine.

I bought a 2020 GLB, but now that the GLC has had a refresh, i’m considering trading the GLB in for a new one. I just don’t use the 3rd row seating, and am not convinced I need the extra cargo room. I think the GLB just feels a little less luxurious, too, and is kinda loud and not the smoothest ride compared to other Benz i’ve owned/driven. How do you like your GLB?

Unpopular opinion but this should have a NA V6 instead of a turbo 4. Feels much more luxurious and if you can afford this you can afford a bit of extra fuel.

Traded my MB SLK sports car for a brand new 2022 GLC 300 AMG package Polar white with Cranberry red interior.. it is still coming within next week I am so excited already.. We first looked at the Lincoln Aviator but was not very impressed so opted to go back to Mercedes and glad we picked this I will surely love my brand new MB GLC 300. Thank GOD for my new MB, in JESUS’ name, amen! Feeling so blessed, thanks too to my loving generous hubby! He wanted to replace my little MB SLK for this bigger and more safe and comfortable car. Praise GOD!!! Loved my SLK but its just small and not so comfy for a longer ride.
