Just bought the 2022 Kia Sportage LX it came with the black 18 inch wheels, appleplay is great. Got it due to an emergency my wife’s Jeep transmission went , 40k gone for nothing. My wife will be using it for a few months and we plain on giving to our daughter in the fall for college, they both love the veh. Most likely going back to Kia for the new Sorento in the fall or the Sportage upgrade to the turbo engine.

Saw the review for the refreshed Sportage by Korean car reviewers on youtube. It definitely is gorgeous + interior is far better than most of its competitions in the non-luxury segment. It all comes down to reliability & no major issues with the engine, powertrain etc.

There are a lot of reasons 1. Just because it looks good to you doesn't mean it looks nice to everyone else. I personally am not a fan of the new sportage and would rather bring my grandma to the dealer to haggle to get a discount on a current one. 2. Some people want or need a car now and are not willing to wait for the new one 3. There most likely will be incentives since dealers will be trying to get old ones off their lot to make room for new ones. 4. The price may be more on the new generation and people want to snag one before the price gets higher 5. Like i said before not everyone is attracted to the new design so they are going to buy one now while they are still available and you can get what you want instead lf waiting until the last minute having to get whatever is left- usually more basic units and special editions instead of fully loaded examples. Other wise, I'd wait for the new sportage

Thinking about getting a Kia Sportage next year but a used one I won't a back up camera on it that's one of main reason I currently have 2013 ford escape which I'm giving to my son after it's paid off. I'll get a 2014or 15 will be fine with me. Want to paid for it no car note.

Sportage Exterior: ⭐ Interior: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ What I dislike about the exterior of the Sportage is that tail lights part of the reflector in the middle I really hate it when car manufacturers put something on the back of their car that looks like a tail light but it is actually just reflector it doesn't light up just make it light up at night or keep it clean with no pointless reflector Kia also does it with their Forte I wish hoping that they'd change that in their 2022 year model but no they kept it the same Tucson: Exterior: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Interior: ⭐ And the Tucson the interior just looks so dull and cheap there's literally nothing special about it unlike the Sportage's interior it looks so premium and sporty but the Tucson has a way better looking exterior it looks so classy and elegent unlike the Sportage that looks like a toy car in my opinion

The 2023 looks UGLY as far as the front end…I’d go with this gen. The new model probably won’t have a turbo option either. Why didn’t they update the emblem though?
