The power is great for the size and purpose of this SUV! The paddles shift smoothly if you want to get a little sporty in the Sportage and it gets up and moves! The exterior has great lines that flow nicely and this model even has all the standard safety features you could want from blind spot, to lane keeping assist and much more! The interior technology is nice with the large infotainment screen and the amount of information that can be accessed through the gauge cluster. The 2022 Kia Sportage drives very smooth and offer a quiet ride! This would be a great daily driver and is practical for it's size! @@BrosFOURRSpeed I wish I had the turbo engine. When I bought my 2011 model, the SX turbo didn't come out unitil the next year. However, I really love my Sportage. I have add some wildpeak all terrain tires to it, for a more rugged look.

Drove it today and picking it up on Monday. Switching from a Seltos SX Turbo. Cabin is quiet on the highway and a very smooth ride. Excited!

@@BrosFOURRSpeed the cabin noise was so darn loud and wanted ventilated seats again. I was going to maybe get the ex Sportage but the SX is really nice and I love the two-tone seats. I'm going to get it in the blue with the tan interior that's got a little brown too.

I didn't really drive both enough to know the differences with that. But both are great cars. If you're already finding the Sportage to be quieter, then sounds like you made a good choice.

Do you know if the difference in the 0 - 60 is very noticable between the 2.0L turbo and the standard 2.4L because what I see is very similar numbers so I asking my self where are the gains with the SX

You'll notice a nice bit of extra pep with the turbo engine. Nobody is actually doing 0-60 runs is a car like this. But more power is noticeable. Drive them back to back and feel them out

It's okay, a little on the slow side for the HP. I'd probably rather do a Hyundai Kona with a 1.6T. Maybe do a comparison test between the two.

DazndConfuzed .... Just drove a Kona N line a couple days ago. CVT is late reacting when the gas is pushed. One of the slowest reaction times of any CVT vehicle I've driven.

The vehicle shown in the video is a 2022 Model year. It is a brand new unregistered car. However it's not the first year for the generation that it is. In fact it is the last model year. The 2023 Sportage is going to be an all new generation for the US market ;)

I have a 2012 RS 9.0 (all that means is luxury features and options) Toyota Scion Xb- a discontinued car since 2015. It'll run circles around any Kia/Hyundai- I know you have to review all Cars & SUVs and I know the so called "Quality" has gone up in the Korean manufacturing but they still have a long way to go. The Kia soul was recently recalled because the engines have a defect that causes fires. Love Bros 444 I just can't stand Kia/Hyundai. Please don't hate me for that- it's just this gearheads humble opinion..
