We have a 15 GS Fsport in obsidian, one of the most beautiful mirror finish but it does not have a clear coat and is very soft, I used a Gyeon ceramic coating 2 years ago after a 2 step corrects with rupes yellow and white polish, and till this day it looks like a brand new car. I will never get rid of our GS!

Lexus paint is amazing straight from the factory but it can always use a polish. I can see a good bit of difference.

I had a pearl white one today that was loaded with swirls. Wolfgang tsr. Menzerna sip and Adan’s orange correcting polish didn’t touch it. Used a cyclo Orange pads. Flex 3401 orange. Speed 6/flex.

Lexus is definitely notorious for being soft and touchy to work with!! Especially when it comes to wiping it off in between section passes lol.

Happy New Year Sandro! I have a silver car, so I too struggle with being able to see imperfections, however I do have some for sure. I plan on doing my first machine polish soon to see if I can slightly improve the clarity of the finish, however I’m not sure I’ll see a huge improvement on the silver finish. Good job Sandro. Rupes wool pads are. Best bet on japanies paint rupees wool pads run 20 degrees cooler then foam pads your customer should be glad you. Put. Paint coating on give. Clear coat some hardness and marrying resistant. Looks great

I have a 2015 BMW 428i Gran Coupe-White metallic 👀 that I will be doing a full detail on soon. It’s very hard to spot any defects even in the sunlight but I’m sure they are there. The metallic is a covering to say the least. I bought it a few months ago with 18,000 miles on it. What would be your advice on pad choice? The clear coat would be medium to hard right? -My compound is The Last Cut -My polish Is Angelwax Redemption -I also have a bottle of Menzerna 3800 -I have Jescar/Menzerna PowerLock as my sealant -And Angelwax Enigma as my wax

Hello, I love your channel! 2 questions: What is the reason for patting the coating applicator before you spread it around? and it looked like you used the nova glass on the windsheild but used the nova pro on the rest of the windows, is there any reasoning behind that or just preferrence?

The patting is to evenly distribute the coating throughout the section. Overall paint coatings work just as well and sometimes even better than glass coatings on car glass, the maintenance issue is that these paint coatings are more susceptible to wiper chatter which is where glass specific coatings tend to be better.

Yes, sometimes tight rubber seals on side glass can also cause the coating to prematurely wear

A great vid with fab results Sandro 👍 a question if I may please? In April I will be doing a single stage polish on my 2010 fabia vrs in candy white. The paint is quite hard as I have done a three stage polish with auto finesse polishing pads and 3 stage polishes in previous years. They did bring up the paintwork well but still left spider webs in the paint when looked at from the correct angle. Please could you offer a suggestion on what pads and polish I should use when spring comes around? Many thanks mate 👍👍👍 keep up the good work 😜👍

I am convinced these color cars are the most dangerous in the US Northeast. On frequent overcast days, these cars become like camouflage and can be difficult to visually pick up quickly. So, it really doesn't surprise me it's hard to pick up on camera. PS - Have you tried the B&S Eurofiber 50/50 pads? What's you opinion of MF pads in general? I ask because its the one combo you didn't try and I wonder if that's for a particular reason?

It can be, but I’d just start with the yellow foam pad first and only step up the wool pad if need be

@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Sure does, i've been looking at real glass polish but haven't pulled the trigger yet. However regarding the vid and hard to finish down paint., did an isuzu dmax a few weeks ago and got both bald and grey hairs. Super soft sticky paint and towel marks even with high pile 500gsm towels. Luckily i found a solution but took a few hours extra.

Do you guys get Griot's Garage products in Australia? If so, give Correcting Cream a try, it cuts and finishes well with finishing pad.

@@CarCraftAutoDetailing FCC (Fast Correcting Cream) and Correcting Cream are two different products.

@@CarCraftAutoDetailing I think you'll like Correcting Cream, it has quite a few followers here in the States. Correcting Cream has a bit bit more cut than Menzerna 3 in 1, and finishes down just as well. Fast Correcting Cream is a compound that doesn't finish well on soft paints just like any of the Megs M10X products, in my experience. M101 is still the king of cut.... If you can get a bottle of the Correcting Cream, certainly try it out, it will not disappoint.

thanks, will try to make the light more similar to yours :) for aplication and first buffing, I make a soft light, like seeing in the paint something white like wall illuminated by Nova 5k, but for the finnal wipe, only method I can see is it in sunmatch2 as far
