Put the wipers into the service position by following the steps below: Move the service wiper to the Service position by turning on and then turning off your ignition, then move the wiper switch to the MIST position within 20 seconds and hold the switch more than 2 seconds until the wiper blade is in the fully up position.

Thank you for pointing out the haze-issue on the KIA Stinger. I exactly faced the same problem on a 2020 KIA Soul of my wife. Picked it up brand new from the dealer and realized it the next day after stripping down the wax. But even worse is the orange-peel. A nightmare and almost impossible to remove as the overall layers of paint is about 100 microns. As great as these KIA’s look and are manufactured, the factory paint work has a lot of room to improve. Keep up the great work! Greetings from New York.

Sandro, recommend you doing video on how you use your pressure washer around your car. Especially with those with limited amount of space. I mean it sure is an easy video, but when I see your pressure washer just chilling there on the side and the machine comes with its own hose reel. You save a lot of headache finding that professional hose reel which can cost like $200-$500. I like to see your routine on how you move about and around the car. Stay safe bro. Love your videos either way. Learning a lot

Mate you speak so much common sense when it comes to doing your details and business ethos. Your right in that you should never compromise the standard or quality of work just to make a quick buck. As it will quickly destroy your reputation and cash flow. Like a former manager said to me you need to know when to STOP or you will go broke. Free lunches can only be sustained for a short time. My brothers in their business won't compromise their quality but also have to explain to their clients what the limitation of cheap expectation has on the final outcome. Very frustrating as your reputation is at stake but unfortunately people only have a certain budget or NO IDEA about what is involved. Cost vs Benefit i believe. Another great presentation by the way.

The attention to detail that you have, is one that I share when i used to build wooden stocks for rifles, and for detailing vehicles and correcting paint, it has brought out somewhat of an obsession in me. I find myself researching the best quality equipment and products to use at home on my own vehicle and until I learn the skills for myself I'll most likely make it a hobby and detail the vehicles of close family members and friends just to further increase my skills and experience in case I ever want to make it a job option or business. With the genuine compliments out of the way, I'd like to say, there is only one thing that I would change about your almost perfect routine although I'm sure its tailored to each vehicle. I'd like to see even further attention to detail and put the vehicle on jacks of some kind and remove the wheels to better clean the wheels and tires and also the wheel wells. Just an idea. I have only very little experience with detailing vehicles and also don't know what its like to have a business detailing vehicles so I wouldn't know the vast complications that may come with that idea.

So it seams as if there is plenty there to work with... I was extremely cautious and just didn’t go any more aggressive with the first step polish. Chemical Guys v -36 is not super aggressive. Maybe when I do it again in a few years, I will be more aggressive and use a Rupes mark 2 on it. This would probably save me some time as to the machine I have now has to be danced with in the curves of the car. Lol. I know you understand what I am saying. Thanks again and so grateful for you videos !!! I am OCD like you, and you have taught me soooooo much!!!!!!!!!

Hey Sandro Hello from New Zealand. I've just found your channel and I'm really impressed by your professionalism, attention to detail and common sense commentary. I'd compare you to Jim White of White Details in the UK for your excellent results and helpful advice. I have a black Stinger GT, my first black car so now I'm acquainted with obsessive detailing to keep the thing looking clean! Watching your full detail has certainly got the juices flowing and yes mine has lots of dealer blemishes too. I took it back recently to get them to polish out some marks left from the edge of the protective film and they did a crap job. Anyway I have subscribed and I'll be going through your old videos over the next few weeks. Cheers for the time, energy and thought your obviously put in to your content. Mark

My mate just picked up a Kia Cerato GT last week. Just over 80ks on the clock. The Amount of swirls & fine scratches all over. You would've thought it was 2 years old & 30,000ks on it.. Yes other detailers can do a job cheaper. But it's the time & expertise is what really counts. Fantastic job the owner I expect was ecstatic with.

Hey there again, quick question for you. How do you determine the amount of clear coat on the actual paint? And what paint depth gauge do you recommend? I am gonna start soon to take my business to another level, and thus far... I have been taking my chances with not being too aggressive with Polishes and compounds. Thanks again for all your videos, because of you And others, I attribute my success in auto detailing. Your a great teacher

Hey mate. I was trying to find the video on the car that had the VERY HARD paint in which you used and trialled some various combinations. Just on that I was looking to purchase some more polish and pads as I have used up some of my polish on various cars. And was thinking The Rupes Yellow Wool pad. How do you compare this one to say URO Microfiber, cutting foam pads like HDO, LC CSS foams in regards to cut and a good finish???? Using TLC with my URO microfiber or even on the HDO pads I get a good cut but BRILLIANT glossy finish. Also Precision is great with blue HDO (Your Favourite and mine). I used Car Pro Clear cut and FG400 with demi pad for first pass and got rid of so much Orange peel and defects. As I mentioned before it's a quite hard ceramic clear coat. Next step I used TLC plus Precision on either the URO microfiber pad or HDO pads which increase the gloss levels. Getting back to RUPES wool pad, is this almost a all-in-one pad in that it cuts, saves time and finishes 80-90%???? I was just trying to be efficient and save an extra step. Last question. When I final polish with say Finnese or FG3500 been hard clear, would using a light cut HDO foampad be a good choice or would using the black finishing CSS pad be best in your experience???? Certainly I have tried a few combinations and really all the polishes I love as they are all great and bought based on your videos. Certainly I have gained a lot of experience and knowledge along the way. Anyway I wish I could pin point that vid on the HARD CLEAR COAT. Thanks again for all your knowledge and me annoying you with questions.used and used

Agreed. I’d personally add a new layer of snow foam to the car whilst using this technique. This would ensure more coverage and more lubricity during contact wash. Either way, the 2 bucket wash method is becoming more and more irrelevant when comparing to these new wash techniques.

My 2019 Optima is sorta similar in design to this. As you pointed out, all the nuances of a vehicle can be pretty challenging when detailing. Lol I don't think I'm gonna take it to your level, but this definitely helps me figure out how I'm gonna attack all the swirls and scratches on mine.

Brilliant job but I really don't like Kia's red. It's a dull orange-y red that doesn't pop. The black and blue Stingers that I've seen look far more eye-catching. I'd never buy a Ford but they have the best paint colors of mainstream cars.

Hi Sandro, aren’t you afraid of scratching the paint with the brushes, using them right after the foam stage and before the pressure washer rinse? I understand you are using extra lubrication, but you do a contactless step first on the rims before touching them with wheel brushes and not so with the paint?
