What I love about your videos is that you show and mention the flaws and realistic outcomes. You openly say things aren't perfect but are willing to show that and move on, mentioning client budgets and expectations. As a newbie to the industry it is easy to get blinded by the need to make everything perfect. But your videos remind me that is not always achievable, and time/budget constraints prevent it also. Thank you for keeping it real.

i'm watching many detailers, and i've watched more since my passion started, about 6 years ago, and i'm always coming back to you when i feel like i'm losing my grip, you're consistent, very good in explaining what your steps are, and inspiring with your results, some detailers do have greater names in the industry, and maybe they are also more inventive in some aspects, but you're simply better because of the simplicity, which ultimately translates into refinement. I'd love to put even more words into this, but i think i've made my point by now, good luck in your future projects.

Good video Sandro...I normally stick to ph neutral (which I would recommend NV Snow foam i find this soap PH neutral and consistent formula) as much as possible but on rare occasion i use Alkaline base cleaners over Acidic and rinse 2-3 times because Alkaline is bad for aluminum if left our missed thoroughly when u rinse, Acidic cleaners promote rust and degrade the parts especially aluminum so i would er the side of caution when using Alkaline and Acid base cleaners and rinse at least 2 times. So to eliminate and clean the engine bay faster and safer i opted to use a steam cleaner with a just a cap of NV snow foam which is pretty much safe and also uses less water, breaks down oil, sludge and grime with minimal effort and most importantly it revives the plastics on the engine and surrounding areas. Dry ice is also a good cleaner but i sold mine because im in the market for a portable or mobile Dry Ice cleaner that has less moving parts needed to run.

That was a heck of a transformation. Great work as always. I was surprised when you busted out the Boost V2. Can't say I had a great experience with it sadly. Tried adjusting my towel type, amount used, and work areas and it kept leaving oily streaks on the car that required a ton of buffing to get it off. The car has Ethos graphene v2 on it, and the original boost never did anything like that.

Thanks for all you do, love that customer reaction, and the 40 hr comment on the time it took. With hard water removal on paint and glass I can spend 40 plus hours on some cars. Question: I’ve had some vehicles with soft clear, dark colors like black, where the hard water has been sucked down deep over time. Complete removal is very risky so I usually have a conversation about expectations. How do you handle these ?

As always top work and rebirth of iconic R34 is very satisfying to watch. Headlights looked especially bad - would you advice ceramic coating to protect them(1 year max in my experience) or maybe spray with 2k clear coat spray?
@CarCraftAutoDetailing Жыл бұрын
Thanks mate and adding a ceramic coating is definitely a good way to on on headlights, and yes a year is probably as long as you’ll last on the lights. You can certainly also clear coat them, but you just have to make sure you sand and leave 600 grit marks in the finish for the clear coat to effectively bond and it’s really best to cover the whole car in plastic as overspray will go every where.

Thanks really appreciate that. I have and sometimes still used rotary brush attachments, they can be messy, slinging product and staining opposing trims - also too aggressive at times catching, twisting and pulling fibres out. A quick question, Sandro. The NV products can be a bit hard to find here in the USA. Would it be acceptable in your opinion to use CarPro TRIX in place of the initial pre-spray of NV Purify, and then CarPro Lift in place of NV Snow + as the product you spray on top of it to let dwell for bit before rinsing? Thanks, Sandro! As always, I appreciate you and your work!
@CarCraftAutoDetailing Жыл бұрын
Yes you could use Tr.ix, but I’d personal wet the car first as it can dry rather quickly and is a more aggressive chemical - just note that Tr.ix can some times haze clear plastics if it dries, so wetting the surface first can help avoid that. Iron-X is another option that is less aggressive than Tr.ix, but Lift used as the snow foam is a fine substitute with no issues.
@marklittleton1309 Жыл бұрын
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Thanks again, Sandro! I actually dug a little deeper and found a place in the states that caries the NV line. I may have to try Purge, Snow +, and Purify. Purify really does look like a very unique product.

@CarCraftAutoDetailing Жыл бұрын
Thanks and it was also Essence on the glass, it works pretty well in my experience. The reason I used on the paint is because although it was designed as primer to coatings it’s still a fantastic AIO polish regardless in its own right and I find that sealants bond to it quite well. Just make sure you’re in a shaded area, the wheels are completely cooled down, you wet the area first and don’t let any of the chemicals dry, you can keep spraying some water as you clean to prevent any potential chemical staining.
