How did you determine the rocker? It looks a little wacky. Did it work okay?

hey mike how many layers of cloth did you use? and do you know if you can sue PU(polyurethane) resin on the cardboard blanks? thanks heaps

Why does everybody always wet out the fiberglass cloth on the board? It's much easier to rough cut it, then wet it out on a piece of cardboard. You can then roll it or fold it up on its self and then spread it out on the actual board. You will be able to saturate the cloth properly and not end up with dry spots or too much resin.

Interesting idea. Is that how you do it? I have never seen anyone do that. Sounds like it could work.

how to you make the cloth not sag into the grid?
@MikeTolley7 жыл бұрын
That's a bit of a challenge, we pulled the cloth tight and tried not to press too hard with the brushes.

You didnt wrap the rails for the deck

We just followed Mike Sheldrake's guide on how much to wrap the rails with each layer. I think there were a couple of inches of overlap. Keep in mind that this was our first time making any kind of board.

I'm not sure if anyone is selling them but you can buy the kits from the original designer: cardboardsurf.blogspot.com/2017/10/kit-sales-back.html
