And Gurguits playstyle so nice. Superior calling rearguards and powering at the same time. Might not call from hand cards anymore.

These fights are really close calls. The victory could have gone to Taiyou too. Thinking about it back then that this outcome is depressing because Taiyou carried the Striders from the beginning,and even Shion can't say he liked this outcome either because he wanted to have fun in vanguard and get a rematch against Chrono and Tokoha again but not by robbing the chance from them. And if Shion lose, it will take who knows when or probably never because in this premilinary, losing means all points gone and you cannot transfer points either to your teammates. Its bad enough they were being pressured by the management of Fukuhara since their former glory has faded after AL4 graduated. Them getting second last don't even get better approval either.

If only Taiyou didn't give both of the criticals to Pwyll.
@JosephStewart1003 Жыл бұрын
He was trying to keep Shion counterblast and damage limited. Cause just like gold paladin, Royal Paladin can rack up counterblast and attacks if they have enough rescources. Tayiou was being careful.

Damage denial
@illegalpic68142 жыл бұрын
@@AssaultRider555 What's the point of that? Shion only need 2-3 counterblast to do his multi attack combo, bringing him up to 4 damage will only benefit Taiyou since he only need one critical to finish Shion off which he managed to pull in his final turn

@@AssaultRider555 Most deck in G era can do well with just 2 or at the max 3 open counterblast, anyone who deny their opponent from getting their fourth damage is a fool

@@illegalpic6814 Having 4 - 5 open CBs would have ended the game right then and there for Taiyou, Brave do not fuck around with magic numbers and multi-attacking. One more attack was enough to screw him.
