Cardi B' visited Lagos, Nigeria and said 'I like it' through action over her 48 hours non stop funtastic moment. This was her first-ever headline concert in Africa and her last for the year. From driving around the city, trying out Nigerian food, clubbing, dancing with strippers to giving a massive donation to charity. The top female rapper in the game turn up visit was excitedly loud compared to other Celeb and entertainer who visited the country in the past, according to Nigerians.
Apart from that, the Grammy-award winning singer made sure she left her mark in the country. So why is CardiB Lagos visit the talks?
The party all started after CardiB posted this video of her vibing to her remix of Davido single Fall. Touching down in Lagos on December 5th evening for her performance at the Livespot X Festival, a two days event which took place on the 7th and 8th of December in Nigeria and Accra Ghana consecutively. Livespot X Festival is an open space music festival with a blend of the best music performances from Top artist and immersive experiences.
Right from the moment she landed, the party began, Cardi who confessed that she often stays in her hotel room when she travels abroad was incourage to go out and get to know the country, she demanded to see the real Nigeria and not a sugar-coated one. CardiB was surprised and called Nigerians self entertainers and compares Lagos to Newyork because of their hustling spirit and positive lifestyle. Passionately, she named herself Chioma B just hours after her arrival.
MEDIA ROUNDS: On Friday, the singer and mother of one went for media rounds and visited a Lekki orphanage in Lagos with cars loaded with presents. Her generosity and excitement about the country got people talking and as the love began to flow. Cardi also had a quick meet and greet with her fans. Everyone was excited to see the rapper as much as she was excited to see the people.
Cardi B sat with Cool FM's N6 and Taymi B for an interview. She talked about music, family and career after music, saving her money and having more children in the nearest future. She also spoke about her happiness which is her daughter, Kulture, who was given a Yoruba name "Ayomide." in the spot by the OAPs.
Talking deep during the interview, the mother of one revealed the crucial decisions her daughter made her make.
LAGOS NIGHTLIFE: The queen of rap stayed awake throughout the 48 hours in Lagos. She enjoyed travelling around the city and said its similar to the Dominican republic. She was shocked the city doesn't sleep, and people were hustling even at 5 am. She enjoyed watching the Christmas decoration and consistently declared her love for Nigeria and its people.
THE STRIP CLUB: CardiB's African experience wouldn't be legit if the queen didn't visit the clubs, which is a reflection of her old life before her music career fame. Cardi hit Lagos strip club to pay her homage, with her money bag in hand. The queen of all Bs True her phone, showed some of us the shocking Lagos life we didn't know even existed. From half-naked strippers to full blow naked girls were dancing around the queen as she sprays cash of naira notes on them happily. Moments later, Caribi's Instagram storey went viral because of the explosive videos from the club, not even Naira Maryl who got roasted for showing off similar strip club video can compete with the queen.
CARID B DRUNKEN MOMENT: The queen of turn-up quickly got drunk after having a bottle of Nigerian Guinness. According to her, she had only one bottle. She didn't believe the drink was so strong. She also thanked davido for sending her champagne during her time in the club. Davido was one of the artists she was looking forward to meeting, mostly because of their project together, which was long overdue. Davido, however, wasn't in Nigeria but was in Barbados for a singing gig. Davido, he is excited about Cardi naming her self after his girlfriend, excitedly sent her his love by sending presents.
CARIB AND NIGERIAN CELEBRITIES: The queen of rap, also got to meet with the majority of Nigeria's biggest stars. Some of them even performed at Livespot X Festival. Tiwa Savage, Patoranking, Ice Prince, Niniola, Seyi Shay, Darey, Reekado Banks, Joeboy, DJ Cuppy, DJ Spinall, DJ Deluxe and Burna Boy were all spotted with the queen of rap. Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim also had a moment Cardi. While Nigerian artist of the moment Zilant Ibile also got to meet the rapper.
CARDI B LAGOS PERFORMANCE: The queen of rap, showed up for her anticipated show, rocking the colour green and a sparkling white, a way of showing love to the country. With amazing and electrifying performance, CardiB shot down the show, leaving Nigeria with a night to remember.

Yeah, it's a very good look for Nigeria. Talk about great PR! Nigerians are too cool! Cardi really showed a more positive side of the country and its people instead of the oft negative stereotypes said about the country and Nigerians in general. I also like that she spent money in the local economy too.

I'm Ghanaian by birth but Ghana can learn some social get-up from Nigeria. They understand and know how to have fun with no inhibitions. You know she’s not the type of person to be fake she exposes it all so if she did not enjoy she would not have shown so much love! I went to Nigeria and I loved it as well! Some of the best parties ever went to were in Nigeria so lit🔥🔥🔥!!! People of the #AfricanDiaspora need to love each other! I'm so certain some anti-Nigerian proponents are disappointed that Cardi-B was not kidnapped or murdered by Bokoharam. Nigeria is safe and bubbling. Yes, we have our issues, many of them, but no less precarious than what obtains in Chicago or California. There are places in Nigeria, especially in the southern parts, where the biggest violence they have experienced is a shouting bout between friends. Nice one.

Cardi is a free bird and she actually felt free to enjoy herself to Lagos life which is a prototype of New York life. I am a Nigerian who has been living in New York for over 25 years. Her comparison of Lagos to New York was very correct. That was my first impression when I first came to New York. The difference is in the sophistication. I am impressed by her interaction with the common people and her love to the motherless home she visited with gifts. You got me this time around, Cardi (Chioma) B. 👍🙏🙏🙏
