Repo & sexuality health educator here - STI and STD are used interchangeably but the main difference is that it was changed due to stigma and also not all infections are/ turn into a disease. for example, HIV is the STI while AIDS is an STD… hope this helps!

to be fair, our ancestors stayed in shape cause they had to travel by foot for the most part and build things by hand because of the lack of technology so of course they didn’t have to “work out”. life was a work out already for them. but now with all the technology we have that causes us to be leas active, we have to find other ways to gain strength and be physically healthy, hence, working out. 🤷🏽♀️

I can’t trace past my great grandparents either. For one my great grandad changed us spelling of his name. And his family is not from the small town we grew up in. His siblings and he were all over. But the crazy thing is I was able to have my DNA ran and it said that I was 24% Italian which was the highest of any other ethnicities listed African connections were second. So I told my mom she was like no wonder we love Italian food. My roommate has been able to trace a lot more of her ancestry than I can.

I completely understand how you felt about the repetitive tours. My daughter and I felt the same way when we took a tour of various ancient temples in Thailand. By the fourth temple (out of about 7 or 8), we were like, "Can we be done now? They all look the same!" 😅

Being in the military, they always have called it STI for the past seven years I served, so I just started calling them that afterwards, and that included Chlamydia, HIV, etc. The literal definition between disease and infection might be different, but I guess they can be used interchangeably now, like many other terms. Language evolves.

47:57-48:12 Yes! Scarcity mindset vs Abundance mindset. I read an article (USA Today I believe) where you can only "frugal" or save your way to so much wealth, at some point you have to increase your earnings (getting paid more, investing, profiting from business(es), etc.)...love this!
