Nice to hear the seldom played march "Royal Welch Fusiliers " on this occasion. Specially requested by the US Marine corps and written by John Philip Sousa , to commemorate the Marines and Fusiliers action together during the Boxer rebellion.

I was a fifer at the rear of the bands, There was a pub opposite the main gate called the Rummer Tavern. We could drink there until we heard the Drum Rolls of the bands marching on and we had enough time to finish our beer, cross the road and form up at the rear of the bands.
