Was Walker not a thirdbasemen in the minors? I never hear his name brought up if Nado is traded. Is he viable on 3rd, or is he better suited for RF?

Siani was the one who was really robbed of a GG, not Winn. He didn't do gratuitous crashes into the fence to make catches appear more dramatic, or dive for balls that he could catch on the run, he took better routes to the ball and made tough catches look easy. His range was exceptional, but appears the process for OF GG needs to be tweaked to recognize range above highlight reel catches.

@@damac5136 lol wrong! He was doing an exceptional job from the beginning. Where do you people learn to post such garbage! Siani was a known top defensive outfielder before the Cardinals picked him up. The only issue was his hitting. So if you said half a season to figure out how to HIT, we might agree with you. Getting injured late in the season and missing a month of games cost Siani the GG. Again, you're blocked. No need to discuss what everyone else but you clearly sees.

The Cards should have cut/dumped Mozeliak long ago, not necessarily payroll. What they need(ed two/three years ago) is to get younger.

who? if you mean the pitcher they claimed, there is a cost. StL cannot put and protect someone else on the 40-man roster, exposing them to being chosen by another team.

I would like to see Goldy go to Houston......That way he won't kick our butt's in our division.... Numbers speak for themselves Winn had a great year but came up just a bit short....I think he will have lots of chances to win a gold glove....

Interesting that you made no mention of Walker at 3B, if Arenado is traded. lol all those Walker worshipers will pound on you, JD. I agree with you not mentioning him for the position, obviously the Cardinals know Walker can't play 3B any better than he plays RF!

@@damac5136 I saw his defensive stats at 3B in the Minors, Damac, that's how. He was awful, and that's why the Cardinals have been trying to hide him in RF. That's not working out too well either! You are now blocked, I'm not discussing this further with you. You just take opposing views to get arguments going, we have seen you do it a lot here.
