@orijhins16 күн бұрын
Not sure by what you mean at that timestamp, but Dark Depths is legendary. Copying it forces you to sacrifice all but one, and to get a Marit out of it, you sacrifice the one with the counters. But then, as the copy has no counters, it gets sacrificed to summon Marit, thus leaving you with neither the Dark Depths nor the copying card (so no spare Marit)
@CardmarketMagic15 күн бұрын
You always have to sacrifice both Dark Depths you have to make a Marit Lage since Dark Depths is legendary

I’m pretty new to constructed magic, is there a reason Thoralf didn’t cast the breaker of creation before attacking at 26:35? Since the lifegain is a cast trigger he still would’ve gained the extra three life from the colorless myr tokens even if the sylex was activated in response, so he would’ve survived another marit lage swing and won the following turn, right?
@CardmarketMagic9 күн бұрын
Upon the cast trigger, I still had time to sacrifice the sylex and blow up the Myrs before the Breaker's cast trigger would have checked for the amount of Colorless permanents :) so it would not have made a difference
