They are very clear speakers, easy to use buttons (every with gloves) and the price was right! I will be getting a pack talk eventually. These are easily the best comm units on the market.

Good point about speaker placement. I also seem to have forward places ear channles. So I had to move the speakers forward. They almost hit the chin straps. Great set this Cardo and easy to operate.

Hi, The TFT KTM has on the smaller models are not supporting phone conversation. It will only show you the call on the screen. To solve this, you will need to connect the TFT to the 1st channel of the FREECOM 2+ unit and connect your phone to the 2nd channel of the FREECOM 2+ unit.

"Stop radio by pressing the "media" button for two seconds" - sounds good, does not work. Freecom 1+, the latest firmware updated on 05.10.2023. Radio turns on fine, but if you hold if for 2 seconds there are just some beeps and it continues to play.

Did you still hold it after 2 seconds? If you keep pressing it, it won’t work. If you release after the first beep, it should work

Trying to get my Freecom 1 to work properly with my new, Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max. It will play but has functional problems. Trying to update the software but the Cardo Connect App says "No Unit Connected" even though it is paired to the Freecom and the Freecom will play from the phone.

Hi I just got a freecom 1+ duo, to be able to communicate with the copilot (my wife). So far, it´s been almost impossible While talking, they keep cuting our words. I can hear 2 words, the following two words, I can´t. And again, and again. Happens the same to her. Two or three words ok, then I (or she) miss the following 2 or 3 words It is like they get connected and disconnected, connected and disconneted, again and again This is not my first intercom system. Was going to go with the 1. But the rare times I ride with a buddy, I’d like the rider to rider option. Really worth the little extra. The freecom 1 still comes with a lot, but without the extra mic, again it’s really worth getting the 2.

I bought freecom 4+ but I think the product is very bad. the audio with my croup is pretty bad, always with a lot of noise. if I activate the voice and music function, it is impossible to hear the voice and music. a bad choice. I have the Feecom2+. Making a phone call fails 95% of the time. It seems that pressing the 2 buttons just doesn't work. It is so awkward to press the two buttons at the same time. Yesterday while repeatedly trying to make a call I eventually lost connectivity. I tried to unpair and then pair the device. It will not pair. I tried a reset and still cannot pair it. Do I need to reinstall firmware or something?

I am interested in Cardo 2 Plus. But I have a doubt. If I am sharing music with the passenger (wife) and I need to talk to her, do I have to press a button or does the volume automatically turn down so I can speak? After I speak, does the music return to the previous volume? Does the 2 Plus model allows contact between rider and passenger and another rider/motorcycle? All 3 can establish a conversation?

Hi, You will need to press one button in order to talk to each other and the music will automatically be turned down so you can talk to each other. When you exit the conversation the music will automatically return to its original level. Regarding a third passenger, it is not possible with the FREECOM2+. Adding a third passenger can be done if you purchase a FREECOM4+ or DMC supporting product like or PACKTALK BOLD.

@@CardoSystemsGlobal I'll be honest I love the speakers and system itself, it's just the stock mic with the 1+ isn't very convenient. I'll order the replacement it's not big deal but it's also like why bother putting that pos in there in the first place? It's impossible to place inside a nice tight helmet. You'll always have to stick it on the side and then scratch yourself getting it off or detach it and unplug it every time you take your helmet off. Everything else is great, just that mic sucks.

I have freecom2+ (fw v3.6) 1. Intercom button works only when device is not in bluetooth mixing mode (I need it on to hear instructions from my phone's gps) 2. Intercom communication is understandable only up to 80km/h, above that speed nobody can understand nobody. I have a street bike, defeats it's purpose completely!!! 3. Noise cancellation is cutting ALWAYS the first word I say. I have to repeat myself or talk constantly before it shuts off everything. 4. Music share works, with a certain difficulty to enable it, but starts lagging after 1 or 2 minutes of play.....powerful music processor??? I do have a powerful phone though. 5. Volume is crazy loud when in solo mode, turns really quiet when connected with the passenger. 6. Auto volume works only casually...never does what you expect it to do, when you expect it to do something. 7. Voice control....what is that?? Never, ever worked, girl voice cries out "not available","not available" 8. Internal helmet stickers: After a few months glue starts melting and everything falls down in the helmet. I store it well, not hot or humid. 9. The app doesn't rotate, I have to rotate the phone while attached on the bike! It's supposed to be a motorcycle tool. 10. Yes, I have contacted support............ Too many issues. I really hopped for an unproblematic device when I bought it...I see it works well on your bench though :)

What helmet and bike do you have. I have a freecom 2+. It is paired to my daughters Scala Rider Q2. We can easily talk on the highway at 130 KM/H. We are on a R1200RT. Also your helmet may play a important role. I do recognize the 'not available issue'. It happens when i pair my daughters unit using the app instead of the buttons on my FC. I blamed that to the Q2 being an older unit. Seems I am not the only one with that issue.
