I think you guys have done a great job. I enjoy all the features that cardo has , I have one feature that I think that is missing from the application for Bluetooth mode. When you are pairing for a new device from your phone you have two options: pair or reset. I think that it would make a lot of difference if you have a third option “Select from List” Because every guy that I'm pairing with I am changing the name and I know how I am paired to, but every time I have to pair him again. So if you have the third option you're just selecting the guys that you want to pair to for the list and of you go Without any procedures. My cardo is the 4X and now i want to move to the NEO

Pairing with the buttons does not work as it should. When I try to pair 4 units in a group 9 times out of 10 one or more will be stuck searching for group and then fail to join. The funny thing is you can see that they had the same problem in the video. One of the units did not turn purple and was still blinking. Then there was an obvious edit and they went on to the next topic. I really expected this to be much easier. There are 12 in our group. If pairing four is this hard I fear how much trouble 12 is going to be, especially since 4 are older versions.

Great explanation! I have 2 friends with Sena 50S and I have Packtalk Bold (and a spare) ... with Bold I could only have BT pairing talk time open for 10 seconds. And could not work out how to get the 3 devices all talking at the same time. It this solved with Edge? Or do you need to have 2 Cardos (Edge BT connected to 2 Senas) and have the 2 Cardo's DMC connected then bridge the 2 BT connected Sena's into the 3 conversation ? I am considering buying the Edge but need to confirmed ... thanks

Based on this video.... with a Cardo Packtalk Neo talking in Mesh with say 5x riders, can I add a Sena bluetooth SMH5, hit the button three times, and boom, they are in the mesh (as long as they are in bluetooth range with me) ??

what if your two units will not pair with the app or with button presses? is there a work around when pairing fails over and over or is there a defective unit possibly ? musci will work in both units but they will not find each other. (two pack)

I use the cardo to sena50 Bluetooth bridge. So we can use the senas mesh network( I'm the only one with a cardo in our group) and there's nothing but issues. Sometimes it works and I can talk to the group. Other times I can hear them but they can't hear me (constant issues, my guess is the Bluetooth functionality of the cardo unit) . It's a lengthy process to get it set up when everyone's trying to get on the road. The Bluetooth bridge is limited range so if he pulls ahead more then 100 meters the connection drops. It's drains the battery on my buddy's side because he has to use both Bluetooth and the mesh at the same time. A mesh network should be a mesh network regardless of the manufacturer. Perfect world cardo could just switch to mesh and join a Sena group without some jank workaround. I actually switched to Sena 50 series because of this.

I had the same question. With the 3.2 firmware update and support of DMC Gen 2, the Sena should be able to connect via DMC; not bluetooth pairing.

Press & hold phone & intercom buttons for either 2.5 or 5 seconds. I forget the exact time. Light will flash blue for Bluetooth or green for DMC Mesh

I think you can with Bluetooth but not DMC because the other brands don't have DMC.

we tried for an hour to connect two riders with Cardo units and a third with a Sena. the instructions in here don't work. both companies have a lot of work to do to make a better product that is simpler to use.

Bluetooth only talks to 1 other headset. Mesh talks to mutiple.
