Do you think you could do another Student Speaks video? One that includes San Diego State University’s DPT program?
@BlueRoseYordan3 ай бұрын
If I earn my DPT in the state of Florida, and I want to move out of state do I have to start all over again? Or what if I start my education in Florida and I want to continue my education in another state... same question do I have to start over?

I’ve been watching your videos for awhile now and I am currently a Kinesiology Pre-PT student and I just want to say that your content has taught me so much as I am preparing to apply and enter into grad school. I love how you expressed your passion and love for healing people just as Jesus did. I am a follower of Christ myself and hearing you express your passion and drive to assist in the healing of people’s bodies, warmed my heart. Thank you so much for sharing that with us!! May God bless you and your family.

Love love love to hear this!! Super happy to hear that you resonated with my perspective. I appreciate you. Are you going to apply to PT school this coming application cycle?

Not quite, I plan on applying the following year. I want to take some time to build up more work experience & save some money.

hey Lee, what do you think of AI and Physio. Can Physio be replaced in the future by AI?
@drjustinleedpt Жыл бұрын
Hey Celestial plane. I don’t think AI will ever replace Physio. Often times, people need that physical touch and manual therapy to improve. There will never be an AI that can replace that

@@drjustinleedpt Do you think [hope] that AI will help with getting through all the documentation in the near future? Absolutely no ‘paperwork’ now THAT would be a dream! 😅🎉
@drjustinleedpt Жыл бұрын
@emcooke2941 haha that is a great thought! I think it can help for sure with the documentation process but you’re ultimately going to have to review the notes to make sure it’s accurate. Your signature, your responsibility!

@@drjustinleedptoh no! That was my one big hope whilst seriously considering this in my career change haha. I have a question: How much percentage of your day in total is documentation? Is it like a 20% paperwork and 80% physical tasks or a 30/70?? Assuming that varies depending on niche. As long as it isn’t 50/50… that would seriously crush my dreams 😅

Thank you for this video…. I have a question. Can someone with an MSc in Sports Science apply for MSc in Physiotherapy (pre-reg)?
@drjustinleedpt Жыл бұрын
Is this for USA or for another country? In the USA, you cannot

Yes it did! Love your explanation and passion for your profession. I am on the path of changing my career. I have to decide either to do PT or OT. I love the uniqueness of both and the impact they can have on others lives. The downside though is the cost. So am at the point of wondering whether the cost is worth it and will it pay off in the long run. Do you have my vids of learning anatomy and physiology for persons from a non health/medical background?
@drjustinleedpt Жыл бұрын
I currently do not have any studying tip videos for courses, but that is a great idea! Yeah those are for sure good things to consider. So glad you’re thinking of the rehab profession! If you get into PT, I’m here to support you all the way 🙂

@@drjustinleedpt thanks bro. Will let you know what I decided when that time comes.
