I use cucumbers to make excellent water. I peel the cucumber, cut it up in to chunks, squeeze about 3 seedless lemons and put all the mix in a blender. Blend until all mixed. Strain the mix and place in juice container - add 1.5 liters of bottled or Bonafont water. Add sugar of your liking and taste. Excellent refreshing drink.

I was actually SURPRISED when I was at lake Chapala to see fish and people swimming... this was out by the "Jesus the Fisherman " Statue along the waterfront. Anyways I thought the evening air coming off the lake was lovely and barely even had a hint of "fish"... but was not at all unpleasant There were many ducks and Pelicans eating the fish... so yeah... while we all wish everything in the world was clean and perfect it isn't! Here in Oregon the Willamette river has historically had warning signs posted to avoid swimming due to pollution... However many efforts to " clean it up" may have helped over the years. By the way... Love seeing your gardens... :) Great video!

Well sounds like you have a troll 😆. Anyways I live next to Lake Superior. Fished the lake and it's tributaries for years. Much of the shore was unusable and nobody dared eat fish from the harbor due to pollution such as PCPs and yes, sewage and city run off. Sea going ships dumped their bilge water in the harbor and introduced invasive species and boaters launching boats carried invasive species from other lakes. A lot of care and planning (money too) went into rehabilitation and water groups pushed law makers to fund improvements and stricter consequences. Improving natural habitats and keeping recreation areas clean is always a work in progress. Improvements on any level are always good. Anyways, it's always good to see you and Lynn enjoying the day and hearing about what's on your mind at the moment. I hope Lynn (Hi Lynn!) enjoyed her radish sandwich. I remember those being a favorite snack with my grandmother. Great job on the gardens and I hope you saved some of those seeds from that giant spaghetti squash to grow next season. Enjoy yourselves!

I was born in Toluca, and by God. Lerma River is one of the most stinky polluted rivers I ve seen in my life. All kind of industrial residues are dumped into that river. Unfortunately if you know how things work in Mexico, there are no programs to treat sewage water from Industries or cities. all is dumped into rivers. one of them is Lerma. There are many leather factories are around Lerma and Toluca. Until today I know where all these residues end around Lake Chapala.. It is a shame the country does not treat their residual waters. anything that falls into Lerma River it dies.. no joke about it.

Actually, Monsanto didn’t claim any wrong doing, the case was settled and Monsanto agreed to”may cause cancer”. I haven’t any real tangible answers for the cause and effect on animals or humans. I do know to much of anything isn’t good. Also know this, whom ever pays for a study to be done gets the results they are looking for. So next time any of you read the results of a scientific , health, medical “STUDY”. find out who paid for it and what do they have to gain by the results. 1 more thing( keeping this JC short/lol) Thank you Jerry for this channel, love the stories and watch with coffee every Sunday am. I asked an horticulturalist friend about your radish, whether it was unusual/can you breed it, and here’s his answer: It's unusual, but not unheard of. It's either genetics or environmental. If it's genetics, whether or not it can be reproduced depends on whether the trait is dominant or recessive. It would have to be crossed with itself or another radish with the same traits in order to duplicate the result Also, the trait is most recessive, which why it's unusual. I hope that’s helpful.
