I went back to this video after quite some time because I have purchased every Carenado aircraft with the exception of this one. So I'm digging back into some old ones and I think I'm gonna pull the trigger on this one so I can have all of their planes. I love GA, and I think this would do well in my hanger...

Beautiful looking aircraft, looks very true to life. My one criticism is that engine noise! Having flown that particular plane I can confirm it sounds NOTHING like that lol

Yeah, this must be based on a diesel conversion, because it sounds like a Massey Ferguson!

AvAngel well not quite as smooth as a Massey lol but yeah think you’re right. The one I flew when involved with a project for disabled fliers was a sweet sounding thing

haha, on take off, the engine sounded like it was a bit low on oil. Or, my hearing is getting worse then I think it is.

The engine note sounds like something generated on a synthesiser and not recorded from a real aircraft.

Just found your channel, enjoying your content. Just wanted to comment that the PFD, left screen, is supposed to come on with the battery. All of your engine gauges are there at start up, you will notice they all jump to the MFD as soon as your hit your Avionics switch. Not trying to be that guy, but have heard you mention it a few times.

Noting that you brought the comparisons between other sims - do you think MSFS has the "potential" to be updated to something with a "super realistic" option so every button would be functional? Or do you feel it will be kept at this "skill level"?

Oh absolutely , even the first payware plane, the Carenado 182 has full functionality.

Looks a beauty apart from the sounds seem way off, more like farming simulator 2019 tractor. If only they gave options to have steam gauges, I really don’t like glass cockpit. I got an email saying they will port the Cessna 421c golden eagle twin. Nice review once again

Yeah this was an early conversion si the stock g1000 was easy for them. Hoping for the 206 and 207 at some point myself!
