Just Stunning--I would have never thought of all the items you have incorporated-Congratulations.

Thank you. The trick was spending the summer in it traveling to events without anything but the air conditioning. I just made notes of all the things I wish I had or needed and then built it from there.

Nice setup! I love seeing a fully functional space that has had so much time put into it to make travelling easier. Looking forward to watching the full flight of the raven 👍

@RC-Air so I am just getting back into the hobby after 15 +years away from it. It's funny because everything has changed and it has never been easier for someone to get into the hobby and start flying. So I just bought a used trailer and I'm setting it up to haul my giant scale planes. It won't be as elaborate as yours but it is a fun project just the same. ✌️

@@urbanairgunner6402 I had mine for about 14 months and stayed it at several events before I ever did any work on it. I really just made a list on what made sense for me. All of the work you see was primarily done over the course of a month. Just make a plan and work through it a little at a time. For me comfortable, clean and organized were my criteria. It’s great to hear your back in the hobby!

Super nice video and wonderful trailer setup. Man love to know where you got the all the parts from. I just love the mini split and super smart over all Thank you
@RC-Air3 күн бұрын
Thanks. I’ll have to put links in the description at some point. I’m currently traveling. The mini split came from eBay and the rest mostly from Amazon though.

If you get time, would you post a close up of the collapsible shelves the main and tail wheels are on. Thanks.
@RC-Air Жыл бұрын
These are the main gear brackets I use. Ultrawall 24 inch Black Sturdy Folding Shelf Brackets, Heavy Duty Adjustable Steel Wall Mounted Collapsible Shelf Bracket, Max Load 550lb a.co/d/9B7tNep The tail wheels are supported by some shelves I got at Lowe’s. They they are hard rubber wall mounts and then metal shelves that attach. They are in the garage organizing section. Hopefully that helps.

Got the supports on order. Thanks for taking time to reply. I’m in Cullman Alabama. Maybe I’ll see you at a meet sometime.

Thanks. Yeah it has been quite a project. I’ve learned a lot from doing it. The next one will be even better if I ever do it again. I’m pretty happy with the functionality of what I’ve build with this one.

Great job! Do you know what your fully loaded trailer weighs?
@RC-Air Жыл бұрын
I don't I believe I'm somewhere around 3000 lbs but I'm not certain. With three planes and all my gear I'm only adding about 300 lbs. that's including my generator and gas cans.

Very nice trailer setup Don, I like the mini split setup. How do you like the Predator generator? My wife and I are thinking about getting a GeoPro or similar camper for some on grid and boon-docking style trips and I was thinking the Predator or the larger Honda. I have the Honda 2200 and it is awesome but they are very proud of them.
@RC-Air Жыл бұрын
Thanks Tony! I love this Predator 3500 Generator, does everything I need, half the cost of the Honda and a two year no questions asked warranty. Pretty tough to beat.
