There is only one valve, on the passenger side. When open, it essentially straight pipes the exhaust. With the valve closed, the flow is redirected back thru a muffler.

pops are just tuned in most of the time though and sound stupid. Whenever I hear crackle and pop tunes in a car, I just instantly think of some badly modded Hyundai or Golf owned by some 18 yr old. It all depends on what you mean by 'pop' though. The ones in this video = not good. Unpreventable ones, or backfire (like you hear in built cars), or if from anti-lag etc, then it's good lol. Basically if the pops are there because it cannot be prevented basically because the car is seriously built, or used in proper racing (function over form), then it's fine. But if it's some borderline stock car running that crap from a tune for style points, then it's embarrassing. Delete that crap. At least that is my opinion on the matter lol.

@@Jez4prez1 I have a corvette. The pops are real. Borla and Corsa produce some nice gurgles and pops. It's fun. Yes, I agree that the built is pops are ridiculous

It makes it louder on cold starts & in Normal mode.

Hi - this is really awesome thanks I might try it. Just a question please: as you said it's important to remove it while the car is on, with the valve open, So: what about if you need to put the fuse back in? Should you put the fuse in when the car is off? Or when it's running? Thanks!

Just tried this on my 23 Supra 3.0 Premium and although my cold start was louder, my pops completely disappeared which I thought was weird

You still have to have it in Sport Mode to get the pops.

@@CarGuy11 I was, it just muffled my burbles by a lot. I’m thinking since the pops are technically artificial, maybe the fuse controls that as well? I know pre 2023s didn’t have this issue and had different fuses
