After all these years, I still come back to these vids. ZL1 & 1LE are special! I’m shopping hard af the moment. These cars have sky rocketed. Some correction post Covid, but still. I’m actually wanting a manual and now looking seriously at the 2SS 1LE…..as the bargain shopper. Fun factor? Is $25k more for a used ZL1 or ZLE worth it? I track, hoonigan at night, and most of my pass time is car related activities. But spending $70k on a Camaro still doesn’t add up to me. C8’s are cheaper and protects your ego if that matters. I’m to old for that, but Camaro vs C8 pulling up to your favorite valet restaurant still makes an impression. Either way, this platform is awesome. I want a manual 2SS 1LE as new as possible, a ZL1 or ZLE. The 2SS 1LE seems like a “who cares kind of fun car” you can burn the tires off and replace. The ZL1’s seem more like an investment, park far away, and manage consumables b/c you feel those costs.

Yep, had both key fobs go bad at same time. Even brand new batteries can be bad, because you don't know how long it's been sitting around, before you got the batteries. Try a new set of batteries, and place both key fobs in the steering wheel holder. Start, and stop the car, with them in the steering wheel port. That way the car can recognize them both.

New Tires need a break in period.. I wouldn't be beating on them from the start. Also you'll notice your range go down since you now have more resistance due to wider tires.

It’s probably the duty cycle you have it set on. Most appliances have gentle,normal and heavy duty.

The factory coolant pump in these cars is garbage. Mine started with a small leak around 30K miles. If you notice that you’re having to top off the coolant every few weeks, you need to get a new coolant pump. After I had a new one installed, I haven’t had to top off the coolant in over six months. Take note that after you get the new pump installed, you will have to top it off again once, as the fluid sets itself throughout the system.

I have a friend who owns 2 Goodyear stores. I have the Michelins and asked about the new Goodyears. He did not seem impressed. But, then again, if you can only get 15k on a set, you will get a chance to try something different, very soon.

Hi What a great video it provably explains why I’ve never had updates. I have a 2023 model but I think it’s a 2022. It’s been used as a pull/demo car at the dealership for the last 18 months but never appears to have had an update. I have just looked at the raw data and it’s not showing a lot on the OTA page. a little late to the video, but you could purchase a OBD2 digital guage display for cheap like $30~50 and it would show you all those info as well, just stick it by the dashboard.

My initial goal here is to find an ACTUAL jeep owner with the 2014 Cherokee Luxury Group that has chosen the perfect portable or mini adapter car play/android auto. I just got my NACS adapter from GM for the Bolt EUV. It is the Tesla one, seems to work fine. One note - you have to plug the adapter into the cord first, then plug it into the car. It won't work if you plug the adapter into the car first.

2024 MAZDA CX5 , doesnt show tire pressure, BUT SUPPOSEDLY , THE DEALER said that it was a software issue that is supposed to get fixed. IT NEEDS TO GET FIXED BECAUSE IT WAS PART OF THE FEATURES OF THE VEHICLE.

Did the Lectron one with the STATEOFCHARGE discount code from Tom Muloughney(sp?). Shipping was fairly quick - about 5 days from ordering. That was my main concern after hearing about availability issues with the A2Z Ford/Tesla adapter. The other concern was the recall of the Ford distributed A2Z adapter and the fact they're apparently switching over to Lectron as at least an alternate supplier.

Have used Michelin for many, many years with no issues. Goodyear is a good tire, but my experience has been they are hard to keep balanced for some reason. Diving exactly the same way, Michelin doesn't have that issue.

Do the test to see if it charges you at more than 15p KWH, as far as I know the Mustang Mach E only supports up to 150 KWH.

Thanks for the video. OEM stock tires always has less tread depth to be lighter and meet the better rolling resistance, millage ratings. After watching Goodyear's tread ware animation video in slow motion a few times, it looks to me this tire ware off the first layer of tread pretty well at 6mm depth and the surrounding tread cuts/sips disappears very quickly afterward so I am concerned about the performance longevity. I am never loyal with any brand name as long the products is well made I will buy them. As a gentle accelerate & breaking slow driver (around speed limit is call slow these days I guess) with a FWD HEV, I am on the second set of CC2 since 2020 and driving average 100Km per day. First H-Speed set I drove 93,000Km-94,000Km with 5mm (6/32nd) tread depth left on these 5 year / 100,000Km warranty EV approved tires and sold it for 50% of what I paid for. I used the money to buy the current V-Speed set just past December. The current set is already at 50,000Km+ at 7mm tread depth last week and they are still very competent in 1+ foot of unplowed snow, ice, freezing rain and deep slush or through 6" of flooded streets just this past year with their full depth treads that has been tested by Michelin and 3rd party tire test reviews down to 2mm tread depth in these conditions (and in their announcement presentation). Looking forward to the long term test results on this tire in the coming year before I need another set of tires or... before Crossclimate 3 is released!?.

I've got a 2024 rav4 hybrid that came with Michelin Primacy A/S tires. I've got 15k miles on them and they already feel slippery. I just ordered these Goodyear ones you're reviewing. Excited too see how different my car will be since it rains here a lot.
