Crazy waves, top shelf surfing, exotic culture and good times merge in this episode of Real Surf Stories!
The most nuts swell on record hits the AfroCaribe energy center of Limon, Costa Rica, with a star studded cast of WSL and local hellmen risking their lives on below sea level slabs.

Went down there in Dec of 91 Was that local Gringo long boarder there when you went ? I remember him . He had that wave so wired . I remember him taking off back door & getting dry barrels on nearly every wave .

Yeah I remember him too was skinnier back then haha. He took me and my buddy out to Isla Uvita back in 89'. I'll never forget rocking up to Limon in the middle of the night and the locals giving us a heavy vibe with our boardbags. Or the trippy dreams in the old dirty Chinese hotel. I'm grateful to have chosen adventure over conformity in my youth as the world has changed but the waves are still firing!!!!
