If you tell someone you have Caribbean citizenship by investment (CBI), they might scoff at you. Many people call passports from places like Dominica or Antigua fake or illegitimate because you can get them quickly by making a simple investment in the country. Andrew did "buy a Caribbean Citizenship" from St. Lucia and now holds a passport. He can tell you they're legitimate and that all Nomad Capitalists should consider them part of their diversification strategy.
In this video, Andrew shares why Caribbean citizenship is changing forever and why you must hurry up to get your second passport.

@@svensulzmann4282 Yes really. You don't understand how the system works. Look at your passport or any other government document you have. Your real name is not on any of them. What is on them is the name of the accounts (your real name converted to all Capital Letters). What this signifies is that every time you sign one of those documents you are considered the surety(collateral) for that account. So yes, they consider you their property.

" Caps or no caps doesn't mean anything other then layout of the document." Wrong - It's done that way on purpose and has the significance as I described. " Yes, there is an account number associated which refers to your file as citizen " And that 'citizen' is not you the real human being. That 'citizen' is the account name and number - and the real physical you is the collateral for that 'citizen' account, when you signed the document/s to agree to such an arrangement. " but that isn't a sinister plan just plain bureaucracy." Wrong again, which is why the system keeps in place to control people - Because people like you don't do the research and wake up.

That criminal background check thing will become more of a diplomatic exercise. Just look at some internationally active entrepreneurs getting dragged into current trade wars and accused of various things due to no fault of their own. I mean if you for example do business in China and the US doesn't like it they will find a reason to give a criminal record. Plus, there are so many rules - often even contradictory or vague ones - that sooner or later you will make a mistake even with the best legal advisors.

@Princess Kemi, We’ve secured Nigerian passports for all of our children so that they can go to Nigeria on holidays and spend time with the grandparents and extended family. Over the last 10 yrs my husband and I have been saving and buying land for commercial real estate in Nigeria. We now own and lease out several apartment buildings which my brother in-law owns the management company that oversees the operations. We expect that our children will eventually manage all of our businesses. We plan to retire early from day to day work in the US after our main home is built. My children are entering their pre-teens now but I plans to make sure they all take formal business management courses so that they’re properly prepared to manage businesses. We are invested in 401K and contribute to social security but have very low expectations of returns from those. If we get anything from those, hey it’s extra!

A promise from the US government even in a formalized multilateral treaty isn't worth the toilet paper it is written on. The US Supreme Court has held a US President can unilaterally cancel any treaty and as for any other promise, just ask a Native American how well they are honored, if you can find one. Sometime in June or July at the current burn rate of cash on hand and a group within the House & Senate committed to not raising the debt ceiling, the US Treasury is likely to be forced to show bond holders just how worthless an IOU from the US government is as well, and when that happens I don't think the US "putting in a word" with the European Commission about Caribbean CBIs will mean anything to anyone. People need to learn how to read the chess board.

Why it is much better to just qualify for second citizenship with 5 years residency and accelerated if necessary by birthing a child. Zero tax havens are going away eventually anyway.
@nomadcapitalist
@nomadcapitalist Жыл бұрын
There are plenty of tax havens hidden in plain sight that will not go away, and many countries that allegedly naturalize after five years don't (see: Malta, Panama, et al).
@SMoore-vj7bt
@SMoore-vj7bt Жыл бұрын
@@nomadcapitalist Mexico does not withhold naturalization if you have a Mexican child. Probably Colombia and Brazil also will not, but everything can change quickly. But clearly Mexico is at least until now very in favor of family reunification, whereas even Colombia has a bit more hoops (e.g. slightly more financial requirements, jus soli only if parents were legal residents). As for zero tax machinations (e.g. can even be accomplished with Thailand residency), what I am referring to is a push by the G7 (and possibly the G20) to harmonize around a minimum tax rate in the teens of a percentage. Zero tax havens are going away and the writing is on the wall. Even I can see Antigua & Barbuda is transitioning to a $20k flat tax, but even that will eventually be useless because you'll be snagged by one of your other citizenships and their laws against tax havens which for example Mexico, Colombia and Ecuador already have. My concern is that without child, these countries can easily rescind your nationalization on some technicality. As for your stance of obeying the law, what happens when the rule of law is no longer followed by the West and consequently maybe every banana republic? Andrew we are heading into very bad times. Be careful with your smug attitude.

You mean Dutch citizenship because that is the citizenship they have and if you become Dutch, you are Dutch and nothing else, the Netherlands does not allow dual citizenship, except for native born Dutch citizens, they will allow them to hold the citizenship of their foreign spouse if that country allows dual citizenship.
